Guys, I’m looking for a complete set of dumbbells to add to my home gym (a 1-10kg set and a 12.5 to, oh, maybe about 35kg for now, racks included). I’d prefer round over hex, and something that looks good (meaning no horrible paint jobs or materials that are going to chip with first use and look ugly afterwards).
My options on this continent seem to be limited, for example the Taurus brand from FitShop. Any thoughts / suggestions?
If I go hex after all, which isn’t the complete end of the world, then I can go with rogue stuff...
Best

I love my Watson Pro dumbbells, but they were very expensive and it took me some time to put my set together, my set has the 35mm fixed handles.
Iv'e seen the ATX Pro dumbbells, Urethane finish, they look good, I particularly liked the thicker handles, possibly 32-35mm?, with less aggressive knurling than Watson, but still Grippy.
Another option the York Pro Style, but I prefer the handles on my Watson and the ATX db's.

Fantastic options, thanks! I think the Watsons are probably out of my price range, given my firstborn son coming in May... but we’ll see. Thanks for ideas!

These are nice and of high quality. You can even request some custom details.
I'm pretty sure they can send them to you from Croatia.
Contact them for price, but I think full set (5-40kg) is around 6000euro.
