Hello all:
I'm 47 years old, and am wondering if training biceps every two days is too much. I want to ensure maximal growth, etc.
Thanks

I don't see anything wrong with doing chin ups every other day.

There is no right answer because it depends on the volume of each workout and your training age.
Assuming you are relatively new to consistently lifting (under 2 years)
If you are training 2-4 sets each workout 2-3x per week, that's ideal. Especially for beginners training high frequency is very beneficial for muscle growth.
If your priority really is to bring up your biceps then Train them 2-3x week, but only 3-6sets each workout.
If you are training biceps 8+ sets then you can probably only handle about 1 or maybe 2 of those workouts per week. You will still make gains but less
Best of Luck

Everybody is different. What works for someone may not for somebody else. Personally I train biceps 2x a week after my back workout (Sun & Thurs) doing 5 sets x 3 exercises. For me it is working great, but according to most "rules" I am overtraining.
Also, make sure your diet is in check. Your recovery will suck without proper nutrition.I Do It Because I Can...
