What have you given up in the last several months or so, if anything?

I have given up;

1. Soda - Used to drink it everyday, two or 3 times a day
2. Beer - Used to drink it once every 3 weeks or so on the weekends, typically Friday or Saturday night.
3. Liquor - Used to have 3 - 4 drinks once a month when going out.
4. Coffee - Used to drink 2 cups a day

Given up expecting to feel full after I've eaten.

I'm still not losing much fat though

That surprises me that you used to drink soda. I always associate soda with fat ladies and huge cups at the gas station. For myself a glass of icy Dr. Pepper is delicious but makes me thirstier for drinking it, so I have maybe one soda every 5 years.

Alcohol - last drink was 10th November 2018 - I was never anywhere near to being dependent but 1 was too many and 10 was never enough...
Meat - 6 months ago - wife and I said lets see if we can do a week vegetarian - have not had meat since.

Porn works the same way that some drugs do, stimulating the secretion and receptors of dopamine in the brain. If you are prone to addictive behavior, porn can trigger it just as drugs can.


Although the same can be said for running, lifting, arguing on the internet, and head banger music.




And chocolate, of course.

Quit dipping.
Drastically reduced alcohol to once in the last two months rather than a few times a week.
Cut energy drink consumption from 3 a day to maybe one if I need it.

Chocolate, tree nuts, and nightshades. Hasn't always been easy but I feel better. I've also reduced gluten consumption quite a bit.

My wife had to give up nightshades too. Interestingly, it made her a better cook than she was before. She had to get more creative.

Paying for coffee daily. Basically stopped drinking it but wouldn't mind preparing it at home moving forward.

Energy drinks. Followed my finances on energy drinks for a month and found I spent $100 a month on them. Was working the night shift at the time.

I've given up soda, driving, burgers, fried chicken, bbq. Moved to NYC they don't have legit fried chicken, burgers or BBQ here. I've already dropped 10 lbs in 6 weeks lol.
