The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.

    Tuesday: Back

Going through the motions. But feel good. As slept so well last night.

Extreme humidity. Shiny but not soaked.

    Bent Over Rows: 20kgx20 30kgx15

    40kg/side
    1x10
    1x10
1x10 this was maximum lift.. Left Bicep hurts. Amazed how far down strength has gone in 4-6 weeks from 50kg/side.

    Seated Rows
    97kg x 15
    107kgx12
    117kg
    1x12
    1x12

    127kg full stack x 6

    DC Smith Shrugs: 40kgx20 50kgx12

    52.5kg: 1x9/12/14

    53.75kg: 1x9/12/14

    55kg 1x9/12/14

57.5kg 1x9/11/12/13/14 so awesome These are what probably wrecked me. I thought did a heavier 58.75kg set too.

Low row machine I use to use in Coomera

    103x12
    117kgx12
    124kgx12

    MTS Pulldown
    70kg
    1x12
    1x12
    1x12

Straight Arm Pulldowns: 49kgx15 56kgx8 ouch failure.. use to be 20 reps.

    49kgx15

    56kgx8 drop set 49x3 42x3-6

    20 sets

8pm-9.30pm then went shops.. Shattered from workout. Sat in car for 5 mins.
    And
took 1 hour to stop snacking and make food.
    Then 11pm delirious
    to eat

Sunday: Legs 27th : Not strong but smashed from this

After not eating since Wednesday good meals and throwing out my prepped meals today.. Made workout hard going.

    92.5kg

6.20-8.10pm.. Not hot but still sweat a lot and sting my eyes during Squats

Leg X warm ups... 33kg for sets of 10 felt hard which is not a good sign

    Squats
Bar x 20 20kgx20 Left shoulder not wanting to retract was painful. As always bar starts high then went away during warm ups.

40kg x 12? But did lots of stop/explosive reps from the bottom.

    50kg x 6 extra deep

55kg x 6 full depth ass to grass. deeper goes past abductor strain

    60kg x 6 really nice

    65kg x 6 again deep

70kg belt on 1x5 awful form at start then deep. But not as good as warm up form.

72.5kg x 4 deep but weird buckling over form.

75kg x 3 at limit.. Which is gay. No bad strain like last week.

Need massage to loosen all of Legs to Squat better.

    Leg Press:

    6x12 with eyes closed

    7x12

    8x8

    9x8 hard...+10kg: 1x6 why so weak? 9 plates x 7 reps... 5th set: 8 plates x 11 reps.

    Leg X: 75/103kg

    110kgx121
    117x12
    124x12
    131x12

138x8 again this is low for me

    131x11

    124x15 all out effort.

Monday: Back with Tarah: Deadlifts.. OMG Loved them\

Legs extremely sore.. 9/10 Went to Garden city for active recovery. Slowly got better.. Get to gym and not think at all of the soreness.

    6.15-7.45pm

45 mins Deadlifts.. Never done upstairs. On Platform. Could not find my straps.

So much fun. Can't believe how much I loved doing these.

    1/ 50kg/side: 120kg x 12

    2/ 60kg/side: 140kg x 8

    3/ 70kg/side: 160kg x 5

    4/ 80kg/side: 180kg x 3 felt so good!!

5/ Tarah says back off set of 120kg for as many reps as possible: 1x19

One arm Rows. On Machine next to T Bar row

    40kg x15

    70kg: 1x13 1x13

Neutral hands Pulldown: Never used this attachment before> Tarah's choice of what to use but my exercise selection

    77kg: 1x17 1x17 1x19

Tarah chose Dumbbell Rows: The scowl on my face. I did not want to do these at all.. Feel smashed.

52kg: 1x13 smooth and loved these.

    54kg: 1x8 very difficult.

    52kg: 1x10

    Underhand Machine rows

    110kg x17
    2/ 1x13

    3/ 103x12

Straight Arm Pulldowns: On the inside of machine Full stack: 1x

then Tarah suggests retract Lats. Squeeze pencil between your Rhomboids. OMFG.. Amazing

    31.5kg
    1x12
    1x10
    1x13

20 working sets.. Destroyed for 2 days after.. Proves what you think is training hard and then reality when really do it.

Thursday(never train on this day) 31st December

    Hamstrings still sore! From Monday

Decided on Y3T workout: 6 sets of 15/15/15

Enjoyed on so much did extra set.

46/39/+ 25kg for singles. Then work up to 74kg

    53kg too light.

    1/ 53x15 60x15 60x15

    2/ 60x15 tried 67kg too heavy. 1x5 60x10 60x15

    3/ 60kg 1x15 1x15 1x5 53x10

    4/ 60kg: Nice slow squeeze 1x15/15/15

    5/ 1x15/15/15 last set 12/3 rest pause

    6/ 1x15 1x15 53x15 just get it done. Not dropping to 46kg

    Hack Calves: 40kgx35 60x20 80x20 100x20

    6 plates x 20 240kg

    +10kg
    1x15
    1x15
1x15 max every time.. Which is ridiculous considering 8 plates use to normal for 15.

    5/ 6 plates x20 5x15 4x20 never go this low normally

    Seated Leg curls: Not keen.
    53x20
    96x15 fatigued
    103x10
89x20.... long rest talking to Paul. Think not see him since September.. Always the best catching up.

Romanian Deadlifts on sore hamstrings.. No strength for them

    20kgx20
    40kgx15
    50kgx11
    2/ 1x10

    40kgx19

    Seated Calf raise: 45kg x20 47.5kgx17

    50kgx14-15 reps

    52.5kg x 10 weird
    then
53.75kg x 10 much better. Felt so good

    55kg x10 Amazing
    another
    1x8

    56.25kgx7 still strong

    57.5kg x 5 Huge PR!~! 5kg more than ever before...115kg

And then Georgie came up and talked to me and made me day. Been months since I talked to her when she first joined.
Was lovely having quality conversation and catching up.

1.50-3.30pm.. Tim said going to be here 2pm. Never showed.

Tarah rushed in and I saw a 140kg for 1 rep. Squats. Nice catch up with Jake.
