Yeah, it's pretty common. Shame I didn't have a hot dog in there, too.

Those zucchini look perfect, and what a good way to bulk up sushi! I love sushi but always feel like I need like, 7 rolls.
Last night was tacos al pastor and an interesting blueberry kombucha
Then I got my veggies in tonight - Beef and cabbage, beets, and cucumbers

Oooh, red, what type of crispy little noodles are in that stir-fry? It looks great. Also, fun fact: I just edited an article on tortellini for my mom. Apparently, the original tortellini were meant to be so small that seven could fit on a tablespoon before cooking, and were filled purely with meat and meant to be cooked in broth.
A-GAME, sultanas/raisins in savory food is really common in Sicilian cuisine and I do that all the time. Even in meatballs!
Today, to celebrate the removal of my picc line, we made burgers with homemade quick pickle and onion cooked with the hamburgers in the same skillet. TONS of black pepper on the burgers. It doesn't look as good as it tasted, but it was really good.

Yes, I've never really liked mixing sweet and savory foods, but it's definitely a popular technique. I put up with it in Indian food, or Middle Eastern biryani, but it's not something I enjoy very much. The one exception is Hawaiian pizza. The slow cooked Moroccan Chicken was very good tho.

Nah, looks great!
Hong Kong noodles! They're in the fresh noods section at my Asian grocer and always super cheap. Those tortellini sound like Russian pelmini, we would typically make huge batches at a time then boil them and eat with the broth and a bit of dill and smetana.

Soy-ginger-limed pulled pork with broiled pineapple sandwiches, and the ever-present vegetables (roasted okra and steamed cauliflower):

@A-Game, now THAT is a Sunday dinner. How do you make your puddings, are they from drippings or do you do any other sort of fat?
@shesprints Your fiber intake is #goals worthy.
I was browsing IG this weekend and saw an ad for Russ & Daughters delivery, thought what the hell, may as well do a little Christmas morning order. $14 for a friggin babka, are you kidding me?! So I made my own May be trying out my own bagels if I'm feeling particularly adventurous.

Yesterday's pot of sauce included beef meatballs and chunks of boneless pork shoulder.
My main for Meatless Monday. Layers of thinly sliced potato with some onion and shallot baked for half an hour then topped with sauteed mushrooms and brie and baked for another 20-30 min.
Thanks! I like your food a lot too. We are of similar kinds when it comes to lots of vegetation.
Praise-be Michelle Jenneke.
