    This is where I got the turkey meatball recipe. Happened by chance when I started watching his videos on grass fed beef and cheese. I believe he does the Paleo or Keto diet. While I don’t follow any diet such as that, but he does give good recommendations for food products and great recipes. Thanks to him I’ve also fallen in love with Kerrygold butter and cooking with avocado oil lol.

    Meatloaf, steak fries, broccoli:



    I put crushed up BBQ potato chips in the meatloaf instead of breadcrumbs, which was interesting. The steak fries were from the air fryer. They were okay.


    Tonight's dinner was a couple bowls of broccoli cheese soup and a chicken thigh cooked in the air fryer.



    Air fryer does wonderful things to dark meat chicken. Can still only fit four thighs in there though.

    Those are just on the pan.

    Put in pan with some oil, then fill up a bit with water(very shallow).

    Steam 5-7 minutes with lid.

    Remove lid and let water steam out and brown.

    But I bet deep fried would be hnnnnnnngggg

    IDK, man. I'm guessing it's a combination of things. Pellet grills/smokers are all the rage in the last several years so mfgs can cash in while the market is hot. Also, adding double walls for insulation has to increase costs, same as coordinating with/buying PID companies to run the computers. When they were $700, I thought they were too much. Now I'm in the market for one at $1200.

    Tonight I made cast iron skillet steak with fresh rosemary and garlic. Wild mushroom & herb couscous, with a side of steamed veggies.
    Also got to use my new dishes!
    I’m still getting used to cooking on cast iron. It came out a little more well cooked than I prefer. But still tasted good.

    Tonight I made cast iron skillet steak with fresh rosemary and garlic. Wild mushroom & herb couscous, with a side of steamed veggies.
    Also got to use my new dishes!
    I’m still getting used to cooking on cast iron. It came out a little more well cooked than I prefer. But still tasted good.

    Looks nice. You can crank the heat on the cast iron and sear the steaks well before adding butter to baste. Then again I'm not great at butter basting anyway and tend to overcook my meat that way.

    Oh, and you need to put .jpg at the end of your IMG urls, like above.

    Fixed muh pics. Been a while since posting any and I was trying to remember how to do it lol.
    Maybe that’s where I went slightly wrong. I added the butter first along with the rosemary and garlic. I’m hoping to perfect the cast iron skillet since it’s such a versatile piece of cookware. I love being able to take it from range too to oven!

    You have to try foolproof pan pizza with your skillet(s).

    Yeah. Use thin sliced bacon. Thick stuff won't wrap around a tiny oyster well. I use a third of a strip per oyster (I'm talking about normal length cheap Kroger bacon, not the shorter center-cut stuff). If some oysters are particularly small, double them up. 375 degrees for about fifteen minutes, turning them over once. All you need is the bacon crisped.

    Steak with chimichurri and broccoli + mushrooms with a bit of cheese sauce. Overcooked my steak a bit but it still worked out.
