Posted in the LWIBT thread. Had to pick this guy up for some rehab work. I had the old pad from my legend flat bench and an unused head wear cover. I might repaint the bench, haven’t decided yet. The preacher curl repaint worked out great. Yes I have too many benches, even for this forum.

Carried inside by the pad mounts. Not sure what happened, maybe splatter as the appliance epoxy paint came out of the can. I’ll have to see how it dries and consider sanding and respraying. New plastic and hardware will be here tomorrow.

I sanded the tops of the bases and resprayed. Didn’t look as good as it did initially but the small bubbles or dots are not there. I had missed part of the edge of the vertical part so needed to restart a little anyway. I also sprayed some clear enamel automotive protectant on it. Have to experiment with different techniques.
