Outside the first newbie gains period I wouldn't rush it, the faster you rush to gain the quicker it can disappear when life disrupts training. The old-timers used to say you need to pause for a while at times to consolidate the gains.Originally Posted by RapidFail
In July 26th when I got back in the gym I was doing 5*10 at 20kg (empty bar). If anything it's been fun slowly building up rather grinding and frustration. I now have the mindset that I enjoy deloads, (as long as I know It'll let me surpass the previous plateau).
