poverty crew. Wouldn't make a special trip, but was already there and noticed them on the shelf.
Been contemplating Prime. The gold dots you posted were same price for non-prime, and free shipping on 1000 rds, so if I'm buying bulk is it worth it?
What are their normal discounts like?☆ MissChill Appreciation Crew ☆ Owner ☆ Σ ☆

They should have been 8% less with Prime. How did you compare Prime and regular pricing?
If you will only buy case quantities of popular reasonably priced ammo like 5.56 and 9mm for example, and aren't buying competitive shooter levels of ammo, Prime probably isn't worth it.
You can basically do the math if you are pretty sure of what you'll buy, knowing it's an 8% discount and free shipping regardless of quantity. That's mostly what Prime is.
Be warned, though, if you buy Prime...you'll find yourself buying more ammo that year lol. And it's nice for things like buying smaller than case quantities of expensive lower volume stuff like pistol JHP, rifle premium match ammo, .22lr, shotgun ammo, cartridges you maybe don't shoot as much of like if you have .38spl or .357 mag, etc.
Also, you get one free box of ammo towards the end of your year membership. It will be in a cartridge you have ordered (so don't order a case of a weird caliber for a friend unless you're okay with it being your free box lol). Last year I got a 50 round box of Winchester Ranger Talon .40 (I had ordered .40) and this year I got a new .30 USGI style ammo can (painted with TSUSA logo and colors) with a 50 round box of PMC Bronze 9mm FMJ

I went by what you posted, $16/50. But I was mistaken, it was $17.50/50 without prime so yeah, 8% cheaper. Probably will get it as I'll at least break even.
already know I'm going to spend more lol. Hate letting a good deal go to waste, even if I don't "need" something. But starting next month I'll have free access to a private outdoor range nearby, so I'll be shooting a lot more.☆ MissChill Appreciation Crew ☆ Owner ☆ Σ ☆

I'm looking at these small Ruger 9mm or .380's. I work in downtown Nashville and sometimes there are weirdo's lurking when I get off work late at night.

buy a glock 19, and a glock 26, 1000 rounds of ammo, some XS big dots, an NSR holster and then drive 1-1/2 hour west of nashville to camden TN where you'll find one of the nations PREMIER training academy and learn how to really shoot.
Pocket 380s do not work
do not buy a H&K VP9

no way, how was last night? i live in west end
first and foremost never buy a gun without holding it in your hand first. Go to a gun shop and at least see how they feel in your hand first. My recomendation is nashville armory..super friendly staff and u can test guns out at their range.

Slow fire keeping it in a what 8-10" circle at 10 yards isn't exactly impressive.
Put a 5.5" diameter circle (the black 8-10 rings of an NRA B8 target) up at 10 yards and put 10 rounds into the black in under 10 seconds, and it will pass.
Baby gun doesn't hold 10? Then make it one per second for its total capacity, at 10 yards, from a low ready.

Tennessee has a lot going for it. Relatively low COL , but rather high sales tax. You should come visit first.

Lots of jobs here, and lots of people moving to nashville...unfortunately lots of the people moving here are soyboys and snowflakes from blue states. But overall the weather is nice, plenty of stuff to do, still pretty conservative with pro gun culture, and the cost of living hasnt gotten out of hand (yet!) lol. Plus we are home to the best youtuber ever Hickock45 , he was my 7th grade Lit teacher.

Happy New Years MFC.
Was cleaning around and loaded up some gen 3 pmags (30roundrrs) with 20 rounds. Felt hnnnnnnng. Haven’t done that in forever.
Wish I could have shot off a couple rounds in the backyard or something but can’t do.
