Just got back from this...the ultimate protein bonanza! OMG I estimated what I ate in my logging app and I came up with 1500 calories and 130g protein...it's $23 flat rate all you can eat and they have like 30 different things you can order...had 3 kinds of beef, chicken, pork, etc...
If anyone is in SoCal it's called Gen Korean BBQ in Tustin and worth every penny. I'm going to go pass out now.

All you can eat? Challenge Accepted!
I miss Mongolian BBQ, had one right around the corner from me when I lived in Sac, it was something like $20 for all you could eat. All the food was in a buffet style, but raw, meat, veggies, ect. You get what you want and take it to one of the cooks who had a huge wok and they stir fried it right there fresh.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

If you sit there long enough with your plates of raw meat and keep a puzzled look on your face, they'll come over and put it on the grill for you, and if you have the same puzzled look as your food burns on the grill they'll take it off and put it on your plate.
All part of the effort to get you full and out of there quicker to free up a table. Teamwork.

There is a dinky one by my house, and I love the place as their food is quite good. The sucky part about them is that they require you to be in a party of 2 and are served a small amount for 25 dollars each. None of my friends like going there because they don't like the concept of cooking their own food at a restaurant, but I love those places because I grew up with stuff similar to that.
Not worth it imo when there are other places where it is cheaper and you don't have to drag someone with you to eat there.Just keep on going.

My girl is Korean and she's not crazy about Korean BBQ...so we never go. How nuts is that???? But I've been to a few in NYC and they were awesome, cooking it yourself and all. Never seen one that was all you can eat. I think I'd easily exceed 1500 cals!
