Anybody here will cheat/binge eat on christmas eve, or christmas day?

Hello all, what are your plans for the christmas feast, will you guys follow your low calorie weight loss keto diet on christmas eve or christmas day or will you guys binge eat? I think i will just eat turkey and salad, but not binge eat on thousands of calories, like many people do and then next day they feel tired, sluggish, guilty with a hangover

Probably stay pretty much on track, maybe allow myself an extra 200-300 cals max just on Christmas Day. Thanksgiving is my binge holiday.

yeah me too, I think i won't cheat and binge eat. I will stay on track, maybe like you said, I will just eat 400 to 600 extra calories, which won't lead to any weight gain. When people eat like around between 5000 calories and 10 thousand calories on any cheat meal, next day they wake up very sluggish, down, and even frustrated and depressed.

I will consume over 5000 calories and give no fuks and actually enjoy life and the people I am around. One day of binge eating will not effect you that much at all and usually the next day I’m full of energy due too the excessive carbs I’ve eaten prior.

Wow, 5000 calories is a pretty big meal but I guess you are right 5000 or 6000 calories extras won't really lead to major weight gains.

Will consume extra cals, carbs, booze but not go extremely overboard. It's once a year, as long as you aren't making an excuse like this for every holiday it won't matter much. It's ok to enjoy life a little.

I have been cheating since Halloween (candy corn is my food porn!). I love my gingerbread lattes at this time of year, and my family is, unfortunately, into baking the damn cookies. So, I'm expected to test them out

After the holidays I'll go back to eating stricter, but healthier. It's near impossible to stick to anything strict this time of year...and that's just fine with me! Happy Holidays people!

I plan on bringing a scale and a calculator to the table and tracking my macros as I eat.

Not srs. I'm going to eat, drink and enjoy time with my family.

You are right about making excuses of binge eating on holidays and celebrations. Since there are many holidays a year, it is not a good idea to binge eat every holiday. I have a sister who follows a very strict low calorie diet, but she is fat, she hasn't lost any weight because even though she follows her low calorie diet religiously where she fails miserably is when she binge eats on every single celebration, social event and holidays

At work all day so plenty of good food, but going to be moderate with it. Just not a fan of feeling over full when having to do stuff. Much fudge will be eaten though.
