I'm sure if money were involved, vaccine manufactures would push for genetic tests to see if someone would be at risk of getting adverse reactions to a certain vaccine. brb skip the MMR vaccine and avoid developmental issues. Not a bad risk to take.
Also, look into polio vaccines with and without the live virus. There were so many cases of children getting polio after vaccination that the manufacturers eventually opted out of the administrating the live vaccine.

There's an incredibly simple answer: the good of the many outweighs the good of the few. Look up Scalia's opinion when the SC upheld the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986. Random deaths are horrible but will happen on occasion. Shielding pharmatech companies from lawsuits that could bankrupt their business is best for the general public.

Its not though, shielding them from lawsuits prevents them from doing whats best for the general public, which is creating vaccines that do not kill anybody.

I mean kids dont get 60 vaccines. Unless you are talking about booster shots or such. But multiple doses are performed in induce sufficient immunity.

From what Im seeing, the pro-vaxxers are just as fervent as the anti-vaxxers they despise soo much. Why do you guys who support vaccination (I do too) immediately jump on and attack anyone who even questions some of the fishy laws and rules regarding pharma companies and their drugs? Why is asking a question or being suspicious of extremely greedy and cutthroat companies so shunned by some of you guys?

Its very similar to questions about Jews. Some of us are curious as to why the seem to hold almost all top positions across the board in almost all industries, but when we ask a question about why their defenders jump on us and still pretend like Jews overall are still just poor victims. Some people on here will flat out attack for daring to even ask a question about them, as if theyre altruistic and can do no wrong and should never have their decisions questioned. I find it suspicious when people defend something harshly without reason or detail srs.

They already seek to create vaccines that don't kill anyone. Safeguarding these companies means that money goes to R&D (which is astronomically expensive) and then the usual profits are taken out.

Do you even realize what law is being referred to? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nation...ine_Injury_Act. Your post shows zero understanding of this law.

It set up a no-fault compensation program for vaccine injury claims. The question upthread asked why....well it says so right in the law, to prevent shortages caused by all kinds of expensive litigation (the US govt realized that shortages would be very dangerous and not a good thing)- picture the daily commercials with the usual injury lawyer speak: "Injured from a vaccine? Call ###-####, MILLIONS AWARDED since 2010", etc.

    From the wiki:

The alleged vaccine-induced brain damage proved to be an unrelated condition, infantile epilepsy.[6] In 1990, the Journal of the American Medical Association called the connection a "myth" and "nonsense".[7] However, before that point, criticism of the studies showing no connection and a few well-publicized anecdotal reports of permanent disability that were blamed on the DPT vaccine gave rise to 1970s anti-DPT movements.[8][9] In the United States, low profit margins and an increase in vaccine-related lawsuits led many manufacturers to stop producing the DPT vaccine by the early 1980s.[5] By 1985, vaccine manufacturers had difficulty obtaining liability insurance.[10] The price of DPT vaccine skyrocketed, leading providers to curtail purchases, limiting availability. Only one company was still manufacturing pertussis vaccine in the US by the end of 1985.[10] Because of this, Congress passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) in 1986, establishing a federal no-fault system to compensate victims of injury caused by mandated vaccines

Yes, doctors and nurses go in to practice to inject people with saline and call it a vaccine. Or AIDS and call it a vaccine.

lol the doctors and nurses don't make the vaccines.

And double lol if you trust the regulatory government agency that allowed them to purposely inject patients with syphilis to see what would happen...

America sure does have some severe double-think.

Don't trust the government, but trust them regulating vaccines.
Most consider the gov corrupt, for profit, and shady, and overall traitors (same with big pharmacy); but let's trust them with them directly injecting us for our safety.

The US government is literally paying out billions of dollars to people who were severely injured by vaccines right now through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, and some of the victims do have brain injury from vaccines which disproves your argument.

There are also problems with the safety studies. For example, for most of them for the control group they say they use a placebo but researchers have done some digging and it turns out the "placebo" they use still contains components like aluminium and thimerosol, but just lacks the virus component. Flawed studies.

I am not anti-vax, I am anti FORCED vax. If you choose to have yourself or your children injected for immunity while being aware of the risks that's your choice. I will defend to the death my right to refuse government mandated medical procedures. Locked and loaded.

don't really care for the topic either way but this study has a huge methodology flaw due to selection bias

NHERI compiled a list of statewide and local homeschool organizations, totaling 84 in Florida, 18 in Louisiana, 12 in Mississippi and 17 in Oregon. Initial contacts were made in June 2012. NHERI contacted the leaders of each statewide organization by email to request their support. A second email was then sent, explaining the study purpose and background, which the leaders were asked to forward to their members (Stage 2). A link was provided to an online questionnaire in which no personally identifying information was requested. With funding limited to 12 months, we sought to obtain as many responses as possible, contacting families only indirectly through homeschool organizations.
A number of homeschool mothers volunteered to assist NHERI promote the study to their wide circles of homeschool contacts. A number of nationwide organizations also agreed to promote the study in the designated states. The online survey remained open for three months in the summer of 2012. Financial incentives to complete the survey were neither available nor offered.

Mothers were asked to indicate on a list of more than 40 acute and chronic illnesses all those for which her child or children had received a diagnosis by a physician.
-they contacted over 100 organizations, wanted as many responses as possible, and got... 666
-with no incentives the majority of respondents are those that have strong feelings on the topic - in this case mothers of kids with developmental disorders that were vaccinated
-these mothers are also most likely going to exaggerate the number/severity of symptoms that their children experience

A cross-sectional design seems fine for this study
A possible way to do this study properly would be:
-get a representative sample of children aged ~12 from different socioeconomic/racial backgrounds
-have access to medical records for all the children
-split the children into 2 groups: vaccinated/non-vaccinated
-determine the incidence rates for various illness for each group
-see if incidence for a particular illness correlates with vaccination status

Every vaccine skeptic wants this study to be done but the CDC refuses because they say it's "unethical".

children born today get like twice as many vaccines as they did in the 80s. And for what? Are they twice as safe?

you cannot even reach the programmed bots. They believe that only good can come from more and more vaccines. They cannot consider that just maybe vaccinations are a risk/benefit scenario and additional risk for minimal benefit isnt worth it. nope. You got womens studies major libtard rejects proclaiming the vaccine gospel because muh science.
