seems impossible to gain muscle mass..... Do you really need to eat like a Horse or do you just need to take a lot of protein ?
If muscles only need protein then can you just take protein shakes ?

Can’t be lean and big if you’re natty, maybe some guys have great genetics or dedicate their whole life to the gym. You can still look good tho

Step 1 be born with good genetics
Step 2 eat every 4 hours or you will never gain any reasonable amount of weight and push past plateaus
Step 3 Sleep alot"Don't fear failure. Not failure, but low aim, is the crime. In great attempts it is glorious even to fail."

I still don't believe a true natty can be impressively lean and big at the same time. One or the other. Soft, but big in a shirt, or lean but twink mode in a shirt. Plus, as a natty you wont have that "full" look either.
That said, I think you can get a pretty decent mix of both. If I didn't think that I probably wouldn't be lifting 4-5 times a week with as much focus. It's all about having realistic expectations and ignoring the plethora of fake natty Yootoob celeries.
Purely anecdotal, but I've always felt I get the best muscular results by pushing the numbers in the core lifts, and doing the assistance lifts with more mind-muscle focus. I rarely bother going heavy in the wimpy accessory lifts since I always do the core lifts first and aim to keep getting stronger at them. I focus a lot less on the mind-muscle connection during the core lifts given that if you keep pushing the numbers, you are basically fully activating your CNS and placing significant stress on the prime mover muscles.

Speaking of which, that Indian actor dude from that dumb movie who everyone is talking about - he's on the juice right? No way he can get that big with those genetics in one year.

There are way to many factors for it to be a simple you can or you cant type of answer.
Genetics are obviously such a huge factor and the range there is so vast that its stupid to even dwell on it. A person can be big, lean, and natty.... most likely though you will never find someone like that, not here anyways. People who have the genetics to do that rarely ever get to that point because they don't have to try to get in shape, or big, or lean. They just are, so they don't put any effort into it, so they never get that next level. The ones that do eventually go pro and turn to the dark side, because they are the ones that rise to the top.
We all know the bros from high school or college that look at weights and grow, yet they hardly train, eat fast food, and look great.... they do nothing or just enough to be better then everyone else. They aren't getting every meal, practicing the latest best practice for training being pushed by zealots online, tracking every macro, taking every supplement under the sun. The people who try are the regular guys trying to be more then they are.
Anyways, just eat your food, train ****ing hard, and do your cardio. Get as much sleep as possible and let the chips fall where they fall. **** caring about anyone else because you will just drive yourself crazy. I'v been doing this a real long time and its real easy to get in your own way, even if you love being juicy. At some point you will burn yourself out if your not careful. The final hurdle here is time an consistency.4% shredded with striated!

Bro, lifting as a natty is a joke sometimes.
I'm already aware that I've pretty much hit my genetic limit in terms of mass.
Like the other guys said it's very unlikely to be big, lean, and natural.

if you eat like a horse as a natty you are going to get fat this was a myth that juicers brought into life making stuff up about food food isn't some magic element it's just food and everybody eats.

So true (srs). Massive caloric surpluses as a natty is a recipe for bloat.
Of course, eating horse meat is a magical way to put on muscle. Alistair Overeem is a lifetime natural and looked great, in particular before his Brock Lesnar fight. He says it was the horse meat, and I for one believe him.

Easy to get the size of a guy like kinobody naturally. Some might even put him in twink category
The fullness and leanness with that amount of mass is the telltale sign they’re on dat dere

As a natty you have to focus on consistency, intensity, and most importantly: Diet. That's all there is to it. You won't be swole and lean natty, but you can look decent in a small or medium tee shirt and phenomenal with no shirt if your diet is on point.
