    High blood pressure/hypertension

Im going to go see a doc today but for those who had high blood pressure when you first started what steps did you take? And how did you workout?

For instance I hit a fullbody routine twice this week due to time and realized both times it spiked my blood pressure. Not the routine but lifting.

obvioisly lifting is good I’m just wondering how did you guys cope? And Steps worked ti bring down the bp?

Im honestly thinking of hiring a trainer

I also wanted to ask does heart rate during cardio play a role?

Since I’m skinny fat I definitely need to add muscle but I also push myself hard on cardio. Age 37 and my heart rate during cardio is usually 147-160 depending if I’m cycling or running.

Is it true it’s better to be in the fat burning zone 60-70%? Which would put me at 110-128?

Im thinking I should trade in my run for walks.
