    Had really bad digestion issues the last 2 years. My ex went GF so I did too and holy chit, my life was changed completely. I eat almost 90% gluten free with the occasional bagel on a Sunday, or beer/pizza when I go out. Otherwise I meal prep gluten free food for the week and I'm all good to go. Also take a Animal Pak Powder which allegedly has Digestive Enzymes, and I'm not sure if it actually does anything.

    I've noticed my body feels better too and I'm doing better in the gym. Skin has cleared up, more energy, more focus, more stamina, and weirdly better boners.

    Avoid all refined sugar. Avoid excess flour and grains. Eat kimchi (Natural Probiotic) occasionally along with a slightly greenish banana (Natural Prebiotic). Avoid gimmicks like the magic powders, pills, and potions. Drink lots of fresh water.

    Alcohol, dairy and flour mess up my digestion, also constant feeding. Intermittent fasting and brown rice for carbs works for me.

    I eat starch with no problems at all, mainly for me it's rice and potatoes. I can have small amounts of gluten and be fine, but usually when I eat gluten it's when I'm hammered drunk and I'm eating pizza. I can drink beer and still eat gluten free and I'll be fine. But, when I eat pasta, bread, pizza, bagels, aka your typical gluten offenders will make me sluggish, tired, and give me the chits. Above all else I find that eating fried foods will hit me the worst so I avoid eating anything fried, and I also haven't eaten fast food in over 3.5 years now. If I eat gluten free for a while, I can handle a hit like pasta for dinner or having something small, but if I just eat without care, I'll be down for the count. If I have a slice of cake, you can pretty much count me out for the night because I'll get sick almost immediately.

    I mostly eat like any other bodybuilder would. I cook a ton of meat, vegetables, and then fill the rest of the remaining calories with rice.

    i have bad stomach issues. have had cameras shoved up and down all my holes by doctors and have taken food allergy tests. i have a diet(its mainly keto but also cant eat onions, garlic, eggs, or peanuts/peanut butter) that when I follow it i feel awesome but its difficult to stick to on a long term basis. its impossible to just eat meat and cheese 24/7

    My colon was inflamed all the way around for like 2 years, it caused a year of chronic pain for me.

    After i followed low fodmap and did some extra stuff for a couple months i'm finally at a point where there is no inflammation, so now my posture is beginning to get back to normal again on it's own (though obviously i'm doing stuff to help it happen faster).

    I really just need to poop a little bit more often and i should be done with it.

    I'm not even getting bloated from bread anymore. So i'll begin reintroducing some "bad" foods on the daily in a week or two from now, i'll celebrate my birthday on saturday with cake and beer, lol.

    If anyone wants help with this stuff, send me a pm. I'll get your Deadlift past 200kg as well.

    It took losing my hair to start worrying more about gut health and I am glad I did. I started with an elimination diet and found I'm sensitive to dairy and more so gluten. So I've been gluten free for months now. I used to **** 10 times a day and hated life. Now its 1 or 2 times a day. I of course learned more and now take a probiotic and glutamine to help with my gut. Theres more research coming out on gut health, and unfortunately this also gives people an opportunity to profit off of it. So its important not to fall into the trap of buying snake oil.

    We destroy our guts with all the processed crap, antibiotics, and alcohol. So it's important to take care of your gut. Research has shown that gut health is linked highly to your immune system. If your having a hard time with your gut I'd recommend either adding a probiotic or doing an elimination diet.

    Eat more fermented food. Perhaps take probiotics first thing in the morning. And try to fast. Eating every few hours isnt going to help either. Like training, u need to give ur digestive system a break. Should try to fast 1 day a week if u can. Or eat a certain amount of hours and fast the rest of the day.

Like training, u need to give ur digestive system a break. Should try to fast 1 day a week if u can. Or eat a certain amount of hours and fast the rest of the day.

    Fermenting foods actually make it all worse, if your digestion problem is an inflamed colon, because these foods take more time for the colon to break down.

    For some people it's fine, though. Just not typically with irritable bowel syndrome, which a LOT of people have.

    I've heard people who has been dealing with ibs and following low fodmap for a long time make the claim that fermented foods are important, when they really needed to stay away from them.

    So this is not so much me presuming you're completely wrong or making a claim that you didn't make, it's for general clarification.
