    Strength Progression While Cutting?

Not sure what to do here. Have been lifting for bout 1.5years, am 5ft7in at 187lbs roughly 22%. Will list my PBs below for reference; I usually progress once week, 2.5lbs on upperbody lifts and 5lb on lower body lifts. A little sad, I like that I'm getting much stronger, but I draw my bodycomp line at 20-22%bf

Should I slow my rate of progression or simply maintain strength level while cutting?

    PBs @ 177-183lbs
    Squat 345 x 3
    Bench 230 x 3
    Incline Bench 225 x 1
    Chinup 90+lbs for 2.5 rep
    Deadlift 335 x 5
    Good Morning 195 x 5
    OHP 165 x 2

    PRs: 405/265/400x3. Weighted Chin +110lbs, Incline Bench 235lbs. OHP: 172.5lbs. Strict Curl: 107lbs. Good Morning 225 x 5

If you can still progress, progress. You don't need to stop attempting to do so just because you're cutting. If you get to a point where you can't progress at your current rate, adjust at that point.

i forgey the famous bodybuilder that quoted this, but you're right indeed. We go to the gym to get stronger; why stop just cuz you're dropping a few pounds.
