Is it a good idea to alternate Heavy and Light weights for every session?

So my workout routine looks like this

    Monday - Pushday, Heavy
    Tuesday - Pullday Light
    Wednesday - Leg day
    Thursday - Pushday Light
    Friday - Pullday Heavy

my question is does this routine looks good? or should I commit to one weight?

I've been working out for a year now but unfortunately I have gout so I had to change my routines frequently. This one so far is good in my own perspective however I want to hear what others think of this.

No idea. You listed days of the week and push/pull.

Whether it is a good routine involves so much more. Like exercises. Rep scheme. Progression protocol.

my bad 🤣 I based this routine on the GZCL method though during light days my keep my compound exercises on that 10-12 reps x 3 range.

The exercises is pretty much the usual pull/push with every session starting with compound lifts.

I guess I misstated my question. Is it okay to alternate heavy and light weights in every session? I asked this question because most of the articles I've read is focused on discussing on whether Heavy is better than Light or vice versa.
I wanna know if it's okay, or should I commit to one weight type?

Yeah no problem with that layout. It's pretty common to have a "heavy" and "light" day for every body part twice a week (approx).

To further solidify what you are doing, feel free to post your exercise selection and sets x reps, with % used and progression scheme.
