Feedback for my NASM continuing education course

    Hey everyone,
I’m a boxing/striking coach in Portland, OR. I work at a few gyms teaching boxing and kickboxing for fitness, fighting and self defense. I work with some amateur and professional fighters but the meat and potatoes of my income comes from fitness clients. I’ve reached critical mass with my schedule and am working 40+ hours a week hustling private lessons and classes. In order to scale my business I want to start teaching PTs to hold focus mitts for their clients. I’ve come up with a curriculum, a website and plan to offer a self study option online as well as hosting seminars at gyms. My question for you all is:

How do you decide which CE courses you’d like to take?

What do you look for in a course?

What pit falls or mistakes should I avoid?

I’ve seen similar courses offer 7 hours of NASM CE credit for 400 dollars and am looking to do the same for 350. How does that price point sound?

Besides NASM and AFAA are there any other providers I should try and certify with?

I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have or provide details. Thank you all in advance for your time and feed back.
