Reports came through that Sanders stood with the crowd that chanted ‘Here, there, everywhere, the Yankee will die.’ It’s important to note that the trip was said to have been paid by the Sandinista government and in turn, Sanders invited Daniel Ortega, the Sandinista leader to visit the United States.
