Hi guys thought i'd share where my son and i are with our training since we started last year January . I'm so proud of my son if you look at the two pictures of him it is hard to believe it's him , We have been working hard since we started last year January and have been very consistent in training . Yeah myself haven't changed that much but i put it down to my age and ofc everything that comes with it body not making what it used to but in all proud that on 51 years of age i can be fit and active with my 16 year old and keep up with him . The important part to me is I feel good and the quality time we spend training no money in the world can buy

I'm so proud of what my son achieved
My Personal mottos
Do the correct form and don't stroke your ego lifting heavier with bad form.
Stay of a bloody scale and concentrate on measuring tape to see progress.
No one can make you mad it is your choice if you want to get mad.

He looks great and you have made good progress yourself, keep it up!
Bodybuilding is much more than an hour in the gym a few days a week---it's a lifestyle that changes all your perceptions about how to live, eat, and rest. It feeds the mind as much (and sometimes more so) than the body.

Great that your son lifts too , i have realized my son will surpass my lifts and there will be no way for me to catch up to him but i am ok with that , i can't help to be constantly amazed what a difference age makes how fast his body recovers and responds , holy cow on his age all test pistons are firing at full capacity even his heart rate drops back to normal in a blink of a eye.
Took a while to teach him to never ego lift and to explain why , some of his friends after seeing what he has achieved now also started to lift and ofc the i can lift this much how much can you lift started with them "challenging" him and i'm glad to say if they throw these "big" numbers they lifting at him he just shrugs it off and says good for you , but what does your form look like ?My Personal mottos
