    Do you boothang. I used to do peripherals and a high weight partial instead of full main lifts and I did very well in high weight partials and peripherals, but not main lifts.
    Lifts:
    Squat: 460x1
    Bench: 400x1
    Deadlift: 575x1
    OHP: 250x2
    Weight: 180 lbs.

    Yeah they seem pointless. I only deadlift once every week and do like 2 sets. I saw better gains just by doing dumbbell hyper extensions than I did actually deadlifting. And lat pulling.
    390 LB cheating leg curl for 1 rep at 6'0 and 227 on the "Life Fitness" Leg Curl machine. ( 195 LBS for 1 rep on each leg ) Full stack goes to 205.

    Do you.

    I love deadlifts and would find it hard to remove them from my routine, but they are definitely not 100% necessary for anyone. RDL's + rack pulls are definitely a suitable substitute and probably better for a lot of people.

    also if you do RDL or SLDL as a substitute for standard deadlift, then you're doing RDL/SLDL wrong and you'll end up in snapcity

    Honestly RDL's are really good, and i was skeptical of them before. They hit your posterior chain in a serious way and you can go pretty heavy on them.

    I have been doing RDL's as one of the primary movements on my pull day. My leg day is pretty quad dominant so I use RDL's on a different day to get a little extra leg frequency in without being overly taxing. I'm going to hit some heavy deads off the floor next pull day and see where my strength is at on those since I haven't done them in a few months. Will probably shoot for 425-435×5-6 reps depending how my warmup sets feel.
