It's not just the Amerifats that are causing the high prices, that plays a pretty small role. You can identify lots of different areas where costs are abnormally high that have nothing to do with the complexity of treatment itself.

He's right that you should consider suing them if the cost is half a million.
My neighbour did that, she had to hire her own expert to contradict the company's expert and she won, but first they refused to pay her pension. They disagreed about both the terms of the contract, (told her she can just change job, she was a head nurse) and the cause of her disability if I remember. Other would have given up.
