    Knee Pain from Deadlifts

    Hi All,

    I’m back on bulk after many years away.

    I am now 47 and my knees are absolutely killing me for about five days after dead’s. On the 5th day they are back to normal but I am in agony before day 5

    Should I carry on deadlifting and just get on with the knee pain?

    Unless you have bad form, seeing that you just got back to it, you might be lifting to much, somehow putting to much preassure on the knees since the supporting musculature isnt built up yet.

    I would not continue, unless I had a good health insurance, since it could lead to knee problems that require treatment.

    I also had some knee problems, but what mostly kept it away, was perfect form.

    what you should do is see a doctor/specialist why you have knee pain then work on fixing it. it hurts for a reason
