Unhappy Whites Vs. Black bodybuilding genetics

16 years old, been training for about a year now. I have a mixed mom (white and black) and a skinny white dad. I feel like i've made okay progress for my first year, nothing too crazy, and i really love the sport. But, I looked over some research that stated that kind of outlined genetic differences between whites and blacks. Blacks have more type II muscle fibers, slightly higher free testosterone, and have higher chances of myostatin deficiencies and follistatin increases in the black genetic population (around 40% African Americans and even more prevalent in some West African populations). Considering this, is it worth it to pursue pro classic physique/bodybuilding? I always had an athletic background, but if I try to compete, I feel like i'll get blown out of the water by a more genetically gifted black guy on a pro stage? thoughts?

You are 16. You'll never know until you try.

Then don't compete if you've already predicted the future.

See how well that works out for ya.

Do your best and give it all you've got. Studies are frequently done badly, are done deliberately wrong in order to garner funds, or are later proven to be wrong by new science we didn't know about. Give it what you've got and prove them wrong!
