Ammonia breath 3 hours after giant Brazilian bbq binge, normal?

I've had bloodwork done after a giant meat feast and while creatine and BUN are obviously jacked up, all the other numbers are fine. I was trying alternate day fasting and consuming a LOT at the bbq to make it better value for money

I have noticed that recently when I go massively overboard on the picanha I get symptoms of elevated ammonia/urea a few hours after the binge, I assume this is temporary as my blood numbers all go back to normal when I take a week off the gym and don't overeat, but it is a little concerning when it happens

Does anyone get this? It's making me reconsider IF with meat heavy meals since smaller meat servings dont trigger this. It seems to be about 2lbs of cooked meat that's the magic number

I'm no chemistry major, but it kinda makes sense. Both Nitrogen and proteins are Nitrogen molecules. Therefore if you eat excess protein, your body will excrete it somehow. Hence the ammonia breath.

I ate a 24 oz rib eye in Reno a few weeks back, and the farts that night were off the charts. I nearly melted a hole in the mattress. True story.

Ammonia smell in my mouth and nose, weird tingle on my lips for a few minutes, dry mouth and cramping. It went away pretty fast and I had a great workout 2 hours later.

My eGFR was 85 back in march, last month when I had bloodwork done 3 hours after a huge meat feast the creatinine jumped to 1.4 and BUN was 21. Not crazy numbers but the cooked red meat definitely pushed it up a ton. There are studies showing cooked meat can push you up dramatically and mimic kidney failure numbers, which makes me question how healthy it is to eat a massive amount in one go

Why would you fast for an entire day every other day?
The power of carbs compels me!
