    A/B split

Making a new program trying something new this time around! Gonna program volume and intensity days.

Doing an A/B split 4 times a week (so hitting every muscle twice a week)

Anyone know if I should put the volume day or intensity day first? Seeing as I have a little bit more time to recover from second day I would like to put the most demanding workout on second day of that muscle group.

Quick example: 10 sets of 10-15 reps for a body part on volume day and 4 sets of 2-4 reps on intensity day.

You do realize that A and B don't mean anything to us until you tell us what they mean, don't you?
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Are you doing an upper lower split?

As mentioned you need to give details if you want any sort of help.

    Upper/lower

Does it matter though? 2 days a week per body part

    Well it does.

If you were doing a push/pull that’s quite a bit different than upper/lower.

Anyway upper/lower with volume and intensity days are fine.

It’s up to you on which order.

I’d say do strength/intensity days first and then volume the 2nd workout.

I find it leads to better recovery vs doing Volume and then intensity.
