    Question Squating?

Im 14 and have been weight training for around 6 months now (maybe 4 properly). I've been to ditch told squating and deadlifting until im older because of back strain. I've been told just use good form but i always doubt my form and have back pain the next day. Right now for legs I do either dumbell lunges or bulg. split squats (Reps 15-20 since i only have 25's at home). Is this enough? Should I squat? Do I need to squat heavy?

YOu shouldnt have back pain from squatting. Work on you form - try goblet squats until you are comfortable sitting in the hole.
