    Yes..

    X5
    5 series

No manual though. Only cars that have a manual for 2020 is the M2 and M4, reliability about average and only 2 doors.

Most vehicles are reliable now thanks to lemon laws and such forcing being cheap costing car companies more than doing it right the first time. To me, reliability being a main factor in buying a car is a rather beta quality in someone because something going wrong with the car, it's not a big deal, take care of it. Even a hard core break down, it sucks, but it's easy to deal with. Even stranded on the side of the road, deal with it, not hard or so distressful. However some people are completely incompetent and can't deal with any issues in life so they will settle for a lame vehicle just because it is reliable. No, I wouldn't want to depend on a complete POS which was constantly having issues but new cars that isn't going to be the case.

The X5 was never reliable. 5 series what? a 550? lol. Then you list the M2 and the M4, you know there is such a thing as an M3 which has 4 doors and the all three have been rather problem free. I rest my case.

OP, the e39 M5 will need to have a book of maintenance records but if treated right those run 400k+ miles.....aaaand that V8:

Not any modern BMW.. too much cheap/wrong materials being used under the hood.

Sorry I wasn't talking about 10 year old peasant mobiles. I'm talking about brand new BMW models, of which the M3 was last made for 2018.

The 5 series (all models) and X5 (all models) are constantly ranked "above average" for reliability, especially in the luxury class.

It's weird how youtube works. You look up manual vs DCT, then you get bombarded with similar videos. I clicked on his video for that comparison.

    DCT won btw

Pretty sure that scatpack owner wanna sell it for a hellcat lol. Just saying.

It's the auto in those cars that give it the advantage. Manual hellcat challengers go nowhere because it's tough to put the power down. The auto gives it that advantage

people that say bmws are unreliable are usually morons.
    every sports car is 'unreliable'
if you want a reliable bmw get a 4 cylinder

here are brands with worse reliability than bmw

    porsche
    audi
    mercedes
    alfa
    aston martin
    jaguar
    range rover

You listed Porsche, your argument is now invalid.

Exactly. They are nearly always no 1 in the reliability rankings. Should not be mentioned with all the others.

Thing with Porsche is they usually don't have those small issues that nickel and dime you to death like with other German cars. What they do have are the occasional big issues like the IMS, coolant pipes coming apart, etc which cost more $

Don't let reliability ratings fool you. they just look at the number of occurrences per certain number of cars, they don't look at what failed. So someone's 911 turbo having one issue where it spew coolant on highway and overheated would appear more reliable than a Honda Accord that had two window switches replaced.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

    THIS

E90 328i LCI is the model you want. And it's surprisingly easy to work on, don't have to go to the dealership for anything. Been using my brothers as a daily while he is away at school and it's also an enjoyable car to drive.

Just don't get a 335i E92, those are super cheap for a reason. Yes they are fast and fun to mod with the twin turbo setup but it's the least reliable car that's been within my family (out of 20+ cars- BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Honda, and Nissan).
