Hello,
My brother I s being deployed to another country for military and won’t have the resources and tools readily available to make his own weight gainer, plus fitting in meals will be difficult. He wants a weight gainer shake that’s clean and will help meet his daily macro goals (he’s trying to bulk).
Anyone have any recommendations on a clean gainer shake that isn’t loaded with sugar or Maltodextrin as the main carb source ?(which I’ve read is basically like sugar). Most gainers have Maltodextrin nowadays so not sure where to look

Our Mass Tech in Milk Chocolate was quite easy on the stomach. And about 2g sugar : 13g protein ratio.

No offence dude but your company posts articles about gaining an inch on your arm in one day, not sure I wanna buy any supplements from them lol - an inch of inflammation maybe

Mass Gainz from iForce is the only one I have seen without maltodextrin or other corn based starches.
For what it’s worth, if he is using the gainer for after workouts, maltodextrin is fine after wards.Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

You seem to be confused as to the basics of nutrition. How else do you think you will achieve a "gainer" shake (1k calories or more?) without the addition of carbohydrates in sugar form? There's nothing inherently wrong with malto. Not to mention the words clean and dirty do not belong in a dietary setting.

Koweanguy posts good, helpful info. He doesn't write the articles; someone from their home office does. And just because some articles written from them are questionable, doesn't mean their products are; it's called marketing. Muscletech has always been a staple in the supp business and known for quality products.

Sorry man but even so, they should be weary of their press or information they publish as it will always have an effect on their reputation. That’s how it works in any industry; if any bad or ill informed press comes out from a company it always reflects on the company and their beliefs as a whole, especially when they have control of it. Sure, this may be unfair as it does not give them a fair shot, but this is how it generally is.
