I have limited budget, lots of family on my back, including parents. So, is it more profitable to buy whey or chicken chest, if chicken for the same money has 30% more amount of proteins?

is it possible for you to order online ??
many deals online .. and specially this time of year .. many bargains and freebies with the deal like gym bag gym wrsit supports+ creatine free to protein powder ..
so overall you should get a better deal compared to chicken if u compare moneywise
Nurtritionwise .. chicken and protein powders are both equally good but protein powder get absorbed fast + they have BCAA+ other essential aminos added ..
you overall there are slight better than plain chicken ..

If you want to look at it purely in terms of how much protein you are getting it's fairly simple to calculate.
For raw skinless/boneless chicken breast you can assume it's about 30% protein - so multiply the weight of chicken you get for a given price by 0.3 and you'll get the amount of protein. (for other cuts of chicken meat with skin on assume closer to 21-24% protein so multiply by 0.21 to 0.24 depending what you have)
Most typical whey powders are about 80% protein - so multiply the weight of powder you get for a given price by 0.8 and you'll get the amount of protein.
This will let you make a direct comparison.

Agree.
But I might be biased as I'm not a huge fan of chicken. When people give the advice to "just eat chicken" I find it mind blowing and nauseating. Chicken for me is blan, tiresome and not that cheap anymore. If prepared in rich, fatty recipes it's delicious. But that's not what we're talking here. The three D's - Desire, Determination and Dedication!

Whey will always be cheaper per gram than chicken or another other comparable protein source. Especially this time of year where sales are pretty big and you can get it even cheaper.
And whey is made from milk. So while I agree it should be used supplemental only, it’s technically food imo.Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

Fixed. You're overcomplicating it.
OP. If the chicken is less expensive, then go with the chicken. Protein is protein in the context of a high protein diet of varied sources. Would suggest looking at all your options, not just 2. If cost is an issue, work through that with the most cost effective route that gets you to meeting your macro daily.MAN Sports Forum Rep

Whey is better if you don't want the hassle of cooking all the time. Essentially they're both high in protein and both very delicious if used right.
You'll build muscle whichever you choose. As long as protein and calorie goals are met.I have a good joke about water retention. But I'm going to hold onto it for now.
I'm not an elevator, but I certainly do lift.
Going to the gym? Ha, it's just a weights of time.
Steroids and ass. They certainly go well together.
I'm the BB king..of puns. I train my back using only fish. I love my macker-rows.

I believe you need a mix of both...
Whey protein has more biological value and may not contain all the chit supermarket chicken has (antibiotics, pesticides, other toxic substances that originate from cooking) but you also need food and cannot cover your daily need with shakes.
Don't save on your health, eat different protein sources (fish, white and red meat, eggs, legumes, milk...) instead of too much of a single source.
