Talking The Ravens are this years Chiefs....

Yea, the Ravens look good.....right now. The Chiefs looked unstoppable last year, and look what happened in the playoffs.

lol @ anyone who thinks that a team will go into NE and win come playoff time.

The Ravens are the only team I can actually see going into Foxboro and putting a hurting on the Patriots, mostly because of Harbaugh. Kansas City will always be held back by Walrus mustache.

Lol @ 'look what happened' comment. Yeah Chiefs lost coin flip in OT. Bad luck. We all know what would have happened had Chiefs won the coin toss.

Gonna be an epic AFC playoffs this year with Lamar, Mahomes and Brady on probably his last legs going at it.

A friend of mine that played and coached college football and wins thousands betting every weekend told me today there is nothing the patriots can do to beat the Ravens even in NE (other then the refs stepping in) I want to believe him but I just could never bet against Belichek up there.

It didn't slow them down an iota when he went out in the first quarter. And if any player could exploit a weakness at center it would have been Donald. I don't like the news but the way the ravens scheme, the center is the least important olineman.

Aaron Donald's skill set is pretty useless against a team like the Ravens that can run outside all they want. He's built for disrupting the pocket and getting to the qb in a Pass first offense. Why do you think it was so easy for them to pass last night?

    Ever heard that before.

Look if anyone can find a way to win it's Belichik and Brady.

You don't have to bet on Patriots but history's shown you're a fool if you bet against them.

The Pat's biggest issue this year is no Gronk. He helped both the run and pass game immensely.

Donald also excels as a run stopper. If the center was a liability, Donald would have lined up over him or run through him. I don't like the loss at all but if you asked me which olineman was most expendable, I'd have said the center. Now if either tackle or Yanda goes down, adjustments will need to be made.

Didn't watch the game, what matters though is if they were running at Donald's gap.

It's not hard to play keep away from a DT if you have the right personnel.

They seem more 2015 Panthers to me.

Hopefully Lamar doesn’t let his MVP season go to his head and fall off a cliff like Cam did.

Lamar has a better coach though so he may stay grounded.

Basically Donald was put in the variable unenviable position of never being able to make a right decision at his position due to an offense with way too many options on any given play with an extremely mobile qb. Absolutely maddening to be honest.

Yea because they played like chit, right?

Mahomes still played great and they lost in OT, not like they were exposed or anything or played like absolute trash like the Rams in the SB.

    I'm still taking the Patriots.

Unless the Ravens had Trubisky under center there is no way they're beating the Pats in Foxboro.

The Ravens D has been largely redesigned since that game and the offense is playing at a much higher level. The Ravens certainly aren't unbeatable but they present challenges that other teams do not.

Nobody’s losing to Brady anymore. Either Belichick finds a way to shut down Lamar or the Ravens are going to the Super Bowl.

Except Raven's have a coach that has proven he can win in the playoffs..

I am usually the guy hesitant to believe in young teams that catch fire, but I actually think with the the Ravens can make a legitimate run.

Long way to go. An injury or two would change things big time plus the Chiefs and Pats are lurking out there. I think this week's game will go a long way toward showing how good the Raven's O will do against a top ranked D. Then Buffalo is on the schedule so we'll have a real good idea how legit they are in two weeks.

Ravens look awesome. They're unstoppable offensively right now. That's a sentence that has never been said about the Ravens. They are definitely the favorite to win. Wear out the opponents defense and run the clock down running the ball keeping it out of Mahomes and Brady's hands.

However, they have been extremely fortunate with the lack of injuries and I wonder if they're peaking too early. Is anyone going to figure out how to stop them offensively in the next two months?

I can't believe I'm agreeing with Sillie about anything.

SF will be a great test for them. To their advantage it's at home.

The Chiefs were unstoppable last year due to Mahomes and that offense. The defense sucked all year and many predicted it would be a liability, and it ended up being the case. The Ravens don't seem to have a weakness. You could say WR I guess, but they are doing what they need to do. Jackson is a cheat code, and the defense has been playing like a top unit since the acquisition of Peters.

This is an entirely different team than the Chiefs. The Patriots aren't great against the run and with Jackson and Ingram they could definitely beat NE in Foxborough...... however if any HC can scheme to stop Lamar, it will be Bill.

Ray Lewis retired a while ago.

Don’t know what coach you’re speaking of.
39He went a little farther on, threw himself face downward on the ground, and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, take this cup of suffering from me! Yet not what I want, but what you want.”

Yup, Ravens and Chiefs are set up entirely different. Patriot defense matches up better to the Chiefs than they do the Ravens. No one saw the Ravens coming on like this except the Ravens.

I will say / point out that the Patriots did outscore the Ravens 20-7 (excluding the Ravens TD early in the 2nd quarter that carried over from the 1st quarter) in the 2nd and 3rd quarter of their match up a few weeks ago. Patriots were driving down the field ready to score and take the lead before Edelman's costly fumble. Not saying the Patriots should have won, but they showed they could stop Jackson and move the ball against that defense. I can't remember which ex-Patriots said it, but they said the Patriots losing to the Ravens in the regular season almost had to happen for the Patriots to have a chance at beating them in the playoffs.
