Look, China is the enemy. They are currently looking to dominate in their region, and will then push out from there. They DO need us for the economic benefits we give them, but they are the #1 threat for the next 30 years. Honestly, I see a massive war coming; I don't think it can be avoided. America is too short sighted in this regard.

Wincel, as the old saying goes, “War is father of all, and king of all. He renders some gods, others men; he makes some slaves, others free.” It is something to be embraced; the struggle chaos and terror of war. There is no man who is not a warrior, willing to die for himself, his family, and his property. Very few people can claim the title of being a man; ancient tribes and peoples thought so, and they knew humanity better than we. The world of pure peace, where people live to eat and travel; to simply EXIST, is a nightmare without masculine achievement. Your goal is simply to increase biomass and sustain its existence. Science is a means to that end. While war can be horrifying (Read, the stories are terrifying and horrible.), it is something that simply is a part of our existence, and it will not go away. States exist for the purpose of war first and foremost. Without America you would see a China that is FAR, FAR worse than it is today. It is our deterrent that constrains them. It is the deterrent of every countries' ability to wage war that prevents a demonic CCP.

My point is to be stoic in life; you lack that quality, and it would benefit you immensely. Every person dies, and the only thing guaranteed is death. Humanity is only equal in death. The human race someday ends. The world someday ends. We don't know the future. Our knowledge of the world won't save us. God won't save us. Our sins will not be forgiven. All ends. It does not matter how unfair you think the world is. Only you can shape your life; for you alone. Forget society cause it never knew you. Live only for an honorable death, it is the one thing that can not be taken from a man.

There is more power in the mind of a physicist than a million armies. The weapons of today make the struggle completely worthless. If we want a better future, we must all work together to achieve some kind of peace. It won't be great. Everyone will still hate and want to fight, but as we have done with our societies in the establishing of laws, it may be possible to find settlements to avoid war. We need to do this now more than ever because the growing populations and scarcity of resources will lead to conflict if no means of arbitration and settlement are established.

Sometimes, wars must be fought. But we should never initiate them and provoke unless absolutely necessary.

So, I am going to go on a limb and say that you (WINCEL) has different values than me; and sees the world in a different light. However, there is no way to bridge that gap purely through discussion, which means that one ideology or set of values would be a better for an individual, or better for someone else. You advocate for very specific values like intelligence(Science, math, numbers, abstractions), pacifism, socialism (to a degree), and a progressive nature (Masculinity is no longer "needed" when it is something you are, not something you do.). I advocate for intelligence (Cunning, social mastery, concrete understanding of things, utility.), strength, boundaries, and traditionalism. I am starting to think that the VALUES are, to some degree, ingrained or biological. There is no way to actively chose such a set of values, you have them or you don't. So, I don't think anyone here can help you fix you, but I am going to post a rebuttal to collect my thoughts on the subject, and possibly help some other guys who are about to fall into the same spiral you are.

Now, my first problem with your mindset is that the type of person who possesses your values, as opposed to mine, are not very practical. They are concerned with the "what ifs" of the future, and are unconcerned with the realities of nature. Instead, they are concerned with what is ONLY in the context of how it can line with their personal idea of a perfect society. Given it is in the future, they project themselves to future generations, and gain some type of pleasure from the sense of melancholy and gloom of their existence in the "imperfect" present. In contrast, those with my values tend to be the opposite; they are concerned with "what is" and work with that. They came to the conclusion that the world is broken to some degree, and you can only influence your own life, so you must care for your own interest. Wallowing in self pity is useless for this reason; you are wholly responsible for yourself.

My second problem is that this overwhelming sense of duty to the universe you seem to have must come solely from a sense of empathy. Empathy, however, is not reality but a process of the brain. It is not objective, it shrouds the cold unbecoming nature of the world. Psychopaths are cold and can do awful things, and they also do good things (Wisdom of Psychopaths), because they have less empathy. Empathy is a drug, and pseudo-intellectuals like to overindulge in this drug. For example, some men will take the time to feel bad for women who make stupid mistakes, especially regarding dating. They feel bad for women making a decision that, in her mind, was wholly rational and good for her in the moment. This is stupid and lame. Soon it becomes empathy for the bug in a web, or the worm in the ground. You have to realize that the end comes to everything, and that warm feeling you get looking at a cat or a woman is a figment of your brain. Sure, don't let that knowledge stop you in enjoying and acting in a way that is integral to that natural, empathetic process, just don't let it consume you. That is what is happening here wincel. You are consumed by a concern for the universe that is misplaced. Your real hate is for death.

Thirdly, berating masculinity is always anti-male self-interest. You cannot deny this; you know the problems of men and dating in society. You are playing the trans-valuation of virtues Nietzsche always talks about. You are making a moral statement about state of nature that has no moral component to it; for no reason other than "it is naive" or "it is primal" as if it is a bad thing for those reasons. You are too conscientious (Probably why you are bad with women, also go lift). This means you are always thinking but about the wrong things. You are always second guessing yourself, and to prove to yourself you are right, you go on long tirades and searches for the "truth". That is why you bother spending so much time here debating every person that disagrees with your posts. You could be going for walks, lifting, getting a great body, starting a philosophy club at your local library, and working on your cyber-security certificate for a job that could get you out of your parent's basement, and actually secure the nukes. Try to direct your energy towards slightly more self-interested hobbies and endeavors, and stop telling people how the world should work when you aren't actually out there doing anything.

Overtime we've seen wincel slip into liberal leanings solely because of his predicament, "masculinity doesn't work for me so it must be bad." It's ironic because he is not self aware, which is probably some component of why he doesn't socialize well. Other than that, I don't mind the discussion on a lot of issues.
