I found cheap L-Arginine online but it's HCL. Is that what normally goes into supplements, or do I have to get another type? I couldn't find the bioavailability of different types. I figure since it's HCL it's easily absorbed, but maybe it's not as efficable as other types and maybe 1g of this is not the same as 1g as others. So trying to figure out the different/right doses I would need for certain types. Cheers for any help.

Most good companies have moved away from including arginine in supplements as there is little to not benefit from inclusion. What are you seeking to gain? If you are looking for pump, look in to citrulline and agmatine.

Also, l-citrulline is the precursor and agmatine is what arganine is turned into? Why are these two better than their common component? Will do some research on this and see which one is best and most affordable.

I'm guessing citruline is better since it makes arganine and nitric oxide which are both useful, and then the arginine can make the agmatine?
