I am tired of saving money, life is boring thay way

And its the same story, the more money you have the bigger stuff you want, always end up being broke.

I would rather blow away money, enjoy little little things in life everyday.

Mo money, mo problems is definitely true. I spent my 20s saving a bunch and getting my career on track. I have a lot of money in investments and literally a down day in the stock market used to piss me off because I'd see my account drop by a few hundred dollars. Now that I'm almost 30 and have my emergency stash and investments off to a solid base, all I care about is whether or not I'm saving at least 20% of my salary instead of trying to save 30%+. Life is much better because I'm still being fiscally responsible, but can also enjoy some of the finer things, like a sick apartment with views of Chicago, new hobbies, etc.

that's your choice and right to do. i can see there is some point to living now rather than later, however i would advise to not blow it all because when that rainy day does hit you'll want something to help out. best of luck

live below your means so you can build up a savings. also takes money to make money, you will never get anywhere without investments.

Focus on the big ticket items, housing, automobile, loans and on reoccurring bills - if you lower your cellphone or internet bill then you are saving every month from then on without putting in effort.

Then you should have spending money for the little things or enjoyment, concerts, ect.

Right there with you. Wife and I have been saving 40-50+% of our income over the last 10 years. This continued to go into our rental properties and other investments. This year we finally decided it was time to start enjoying more of our money and are currently in the process of building a house that we'll raise our kids in. Next we'll be getting her a new car and then myself a new bike and vehicle. Hopefully in the next 4-5 years we'll then be getting a boat.

We'll still be able to max our 401ks and put some money in our IRAs, but ready to start "living" a little. Just tired of seeing everyone around us, even those that make 1/2 what we do, have such nice things. Want a home I can be proud of and raise my family in. Also want to see my wife drive my little one around in a nicer vehicle (we currently both drive 12+ year old vehicles). Its a weird feeling though when you've been saving and living well below your means for so long. Have a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that we're being irresponsible....

If you don't have kids there is absolutely no point in saving lol.

    Fuk saving.
39He went a little farther on, threw himself face downward on the ground, and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, take this cup of suffering from me! Yet not what I want, but what you want.”

It's one of the many blessings of having disposable income. It's a bestseller too but clearly the millions who bought it are not nearly as smart as you. Teach me. And i'm not talking politics i'm talking real fking life. Politics won't mean chit if that happens, that's when things go south

Who really wants to retire? I'd rather just work to 60, and hope to die soon after

The old dude who lives across the street from me dementia has kicked in tenfold since he retired, and his wife hates him so much more now that he is home all the time doing nothing.

Lol this silly troll is back at it again. The real question here is: did you ask your parents and wife for permission before blowing all the savings on alcohol gain?

Here is a mindblowing life tip from someone who doesn't live with their parents, and not married to some ugly bish who he hates but has to provide for: fix your life so you enjoy your existence instead of drowning your sorrows in alcohol, you sad miserable kunt. That's what "enjoying the little things" means; to wake up and not hate your existence, but to enjoy going through your little routines before getting ready for a fulfilling day. Or coming back home to a loving partner who you want to spend time with as opposed to running away from them at 3am to seek refuge in the bottom of a shot glass. 31 years ffs bro, get it together.

Life is about balance. I saved up enough to feel safe should something happen to my business and I'd need a restart or whatev. But once I hit that number I started doing whatever I want without regard for cost and I'm living month to month basically. The only time I really save is the few months before tax season so I can pay the irs.
