It's been a few years since I have been active on this site. My laziness and excuses surrounding a high stress job have caused me significant weight over the past years. I am creating this long to document my journey and help me stay on track. My plan is to lift fullbody 3x a week and do cardio each day that I'm not lifting.
Had a decent first day back. Wen't on a bit of an extended hike (2+ hrs) after lifting and slightly overate afterwards to compensate.
Took it easy on lifting on my first day back and just hit the compounds:
Squat 225x3x5
Bench 165x3x5
BW Pullups 3x2(fail)
Macros: 172P/238C/121F - 2729 calories. Given my bodyweight and activity level, this is still certainly in a deficit. So, while not perfect, I think my food choices were overall good and I'll make sure I do a better job tomorrow.
Came down with the flu the morning of 11/25 and have been doing anything to feel better - so no workout, no tracking. Just medicine. Fever has largely broken this morning, but still feeling some residual tiredness - will play today by ear.
