    2020 Ram 3500 HO Diesel or Ford F350 6.7L?

So I might possibly be in the market for one of these trucks, if everything goes right with my current truck.

The two truck I'm looking at are the 2020 Ram 3500 with HO Diesel Laramie with the night Edition package, basically loaded to the gills. MSRP is like 77k, but with Employee plus pricing it's 68k or ever less.

The second truck is the 2020 F350 Lariat with the revised 6.7l PS Diesel with the Sports package, which is also basically loaded like the Ram. Msrp like I have it is about 75k and probably get it at invoice which is around 70k I think?

I've driven the F350 6.7l, but with it was a 2019 and I just loved the power it had. I have not driven the new HO Cummins, but I've heard it's not as 'quick' as the 6.7l. I do prefer the Ram Interior by a lot, but the problem I have which might be a dumb problem, is the resale value of Rams compared to the Fords. Ford seems to hold value much better than the Rams. I don't know if it will be different with the new HD Rams.

Anyways, what would you guys go for if you had the chance?

Ford - Better exterior, by a little

Ram - Better interior, better discounts (should aim for $10-15k off MSRP)

    Motor - Toss-up

Ram makes the best full size trucks these days, if you don't think so, you've never driven one. The 1500 Ram is a lot nicer than anything else and the 2500 and up just got redesigned for 2020 to be as nice or better than anything in the class. You won't have to worry about resale if you buy it right. Or you could lease.

    Strong choices, jesus.

You can't go wrong with either, ultimately it comes down to which one you prefer and cost. I'd get the dodge personally just because I prefer the looks, the superdutys haven't changed much over the years.

You really need a one ton?

If you can get by with a 3/4 ton, go with the new F250 Tremor.

Admittedly, the new redesigned RAM heavy duty’s are beautiful trucks tho. Can’t go wrong with either. And resale value in the heavy duty markets are healthy across the board.

Half ton resale for the RAM is low, but if you buy when they are offering such large incentives / discounts it’s a wash.

The reason I want a 1 ton is the payload are much higher, and the type of work we do I need payload and tow.

I do like the Tremor, but it reduces payload too much.

When considering overall package and the new Ford engine revamp in the Super Duty for 2020, that's what I would get. Resale is something that's important to me and the capability of the trucks is so close that I'd give the edge to the Ford. Dodge has come a LONG way though and that new interior is awesome. I haven't sat in one or felt the fit and finish (which is usually questionable on FCA vehicles), but just from photos, they knocked it out of the park.

Ram 3500 owner, I'd go with Ram any day of the week. Better interior and build quality, all my friends Ford seem like they're building out of tin and are ready to fall apart. Ford has the tech aspect nailed down though

Holds value much much better than the F350 as well.

Truthfully, if you aren't hardcore loyal to either brand, I would check out both. Find one of each with comparable options, and go with the very best deal you can get. You really can't go wrong with either.

I'm not a brand loyalist, I go for what I like best. The one thing I do like about the Ford is the extra 75hp it produces over the cummins 400hp, but there is a tune that adds 30hp or 120hp, so that's not a huge problem. As for a better deal I probably can get the Ram 10k off.

I actually think I'm going Ford.

Put together a F250 Plat. with the Tremor package, fully loaded 84k MSRP ( I have X-plan which lowers the price to 79k, and maybe an extra 1k or more via incentives from for and the dealer itself)

My brother is going for a 2020 F350 in Lariat Trim but w/o the Tremor because he needs the payload. His is basically loaded too, but with the 7.3 gasser and I'm going with the 6.7l Powerstroke.

Here's what miness going to look like minus the black. I do like the blackout but you can't get the blacout package in the Plat trim, so I'm going to go aftermarket and black it out myself.

Two things in life right now that I'm aiming for: Getting big and very lean, and the other is making lots of money so I can shove it in peoples faces that didn't give me the time.
