    Mixing up my own preworkout - Advice

    So I want to start supplementing again and I wanted to take a new approach by mixing my own preworkout. I'm looking to drop weight and increase strength. I've been shopping around at bulksupplements.com and I was looking at the following:

    Creatine monohydrate
    L-Citruline DL-Malate 2:1
    EAAs
    Beta alanine
    Matcha powder (for the stimulant)
    L-Arginine a-Ketogluterate
    L-Carnitine (one or more different strains)
    L-Glutamine
    CLA

    Looking for any advice on dosages and whether or not this would be overkill, dangerous, a waste of money, do all these things play nice together, etc. Would appreciate any words of experience or wisdom thanks again.

    Citrulline rather than CM, AAKG isn't worth it, Acetyl L Carnitine if you want the cognitive effects LCLT if you want the more physically related effects, Glutamine only helps with digestion at high doses, CLA if totally useless

    EAAs - No. Waste of money. Meet your macro daily and get plenty of amino acids. Even if there were some value, nutrient timing isn't relevant for the vast majority of people
    Beta alanine - Sure if you want, but not a ton of value and, like creatine, isn't dependent on timing. It works via saturation.
    Matcha powder (for the stimulant) - Okay
    L-Arginine a-Ketogluterate - Naw.
    L-Carnitine (one or more different strains) - ALCAR or LCLT as Spinach suggested
    L-Glutamine - See EAAs
    CLA - Nope. Waste of cash.
