If you drink the standard Cola (red can), consider that it contains a lot of sugar, as well as many other soft drinks.
Carbonated drinks are not very good for your health in general, you may want to try to switch to mineral water for a certain period of time and then complete the transition to still water. In the meantime you could cope with the caffeine addiction simply by drinking 2-3 cups of black coffee per day (but also this should be reduced over time to 1-2).
As for all cases of addiction, it mostly depend on your will... make up your mind and set your goals.
Good luck.

6 cans of full sugar coca cola is 804 calories.
6 cans of diet coke is probably less than 5 calories.
Switching to diet is the obvious answer if you're determined to keep drinking soda. At least it doesn't change things too dramatically. If you only care about composition and not internal health then switch to diet, but if you want to be healthy inside and out then maybe slowly move to sparkling water, because it's at least carbonated so you still have some familiarity.I have a good joke about water retention. But I'm going to hold onto it for now.

The obvious and unhelpful answer is to stop drinking sodas. What you need to do is replace sodas with something else and hopefully you will be able to break the habit. Over time, when you are craving a soda and you continually replace it with diet soda, sparkling water, tea, etc your mind will start switching and that craving for sugar soda will change to what you replace it with.
Personally, I love sparkling water so that is what I would use. If it's a caffeine issue as well then you can always take caffeine pills throughout the day and cut down on their use slowly as well.
