I get people are trying to run with the narrative that this is the year of the "Black QB", but tyrod has been ass all of his career, and he definitely isn't an upgrade over a washed up rivers

this is no Rivers stat, this is a charger team stat (long time fan). chargers are cursed with losing every close game. chargers play up to the good team's competition and lose in the 4th quarter with seconds remaining, and they play low down to the crappy teams and lose to these crappy teams with seconds remaining.
this is likely an ownership problem considering how many coaching changes, qbs, rbs, defenses we have gone through with the same exact culture of losing.*** Latinos For Trump Crew ***

One could argue that it's a Philip Rivers stat. Even you mentioned that there have been many coaching changes and many player changes throughout his career, but the constant has been Philip Rivers.
Obviously, not all of those losses can be blamed on Rivers, but to pretend that he isn't part of the issue is naive. Look at this season. He's had a number of opportunities to win games, but literally throws them away. He did it against the Chiefs and he did it against the Raiders.
Rivers is a good QB, but he's not going to win any championships for the Chargers. If you put together a list of all the QBs who would never win you a championship, he would be #1 on that list. He's just good enough to keep them from drafting a QB, but just bad enough to never get them a championship.New England Patriot
