    5/31/20

Another solid week in the books. Really need to start working out soon and tone/build some more muscle mass and strength. Thus far it has pretty much only been diet. Closing in on my next goal which is 200lbs lost. June 10th would be the 8 month mark, hoping to hit it by then. 7lbs in 10 days would be right around the average I have been doing so it is definitely doable.

    Update as of 5/31/2020
    Start Weight 10/11/19: 474 lbs
Short term Goal Weight: 274 lbs
    Current Weight 5/17/20: 281 lbs
Loss since last update : 6.8 lbs
    Total Loss: 193.0 lbs
Short Term Goal To Go: 7.0 lbs

You are smashing this man, subscribing and reps when I can.

You look bloody fantastic in your most recent picture, good job. I agree that you are approaching a point where a good resistance workout routine would come in handy. Not only are you likely to be able to gain a fair amount of muscle in the initial stages even in a deficit, more lean mass will help you maintain a lower weight once your goals are achieved.

Whereabouts are your daily calories currently at? Is it an eating lifestyle you feel you can maintain once you've finished losing to make sure you keep yourself where you want to be?

    Looking forward to more updates

Lost another 4lbs this week. My weight loss is still steady and maintaining about the same pace. I would say my overall goal is to get to around 185-190 so I have about 75/80lbs to go. At my current rate I should be able to do this by the end of the year.

    Update as of 6/28/2020
    Start Weight 10/11/19: 474 lbs

Thank you. My current daily calorie intake is ranges from about 750-1200 calories a day. I try to keep right around an average of 1000. Although it is not sustainable forever I have been able to maintain this for 8.5 months now. Once I get to my goal I will need to increase my calories, but based on the habits I have formed over my journey I am confident I will be able to refrain from the excessive eating I once did. I figure after eating 1000 calories for a year....eating 2000-2500 will be more than satisfying

    Awesome

Congratulations man, I'm about 330ish haven't checked in awhile but seeing what you have done I'm going to. Might start with macros, seems easier to just watch calorie intake though. Although doing that will be hard as I want to constantly eat.

    7/5/20

I And using my weight from yesterday morning as I indulged yesterday for the holiday so I know I am carrying some pounds of bloat and water weight from straying from my strict diet. Overall I ate pretty well to keto (minus the smore I had over the campfire) but I def ate way more than I normally do with a lot more calories than I normally do. I’m sure in a couple days I’ll be back to normal, so I am not worried about it. Just need to take it with the yestersay is over and today is back to normal mentality. Besides yesterday another good week in the books.

I am doing a mix of keto and PSMF. I eat meats(typically lean) and keto friendly vegetables Exclusively. I don’t eat any sugar or carbs (except for the veggies). I also am restricting to about 1,000 calories per day

So I started lifting weights and this is the first week I didn’t lose weight...just staying the same.
My diet has not changed so I am guessing my body is just retaining water because of the weight lifting. I will keep the course and it should sort itself out

So it was a rough 2 weeks. For the first time I hit a little plateau and the scale didn’t move, I even gained a few pounds at times. I kept going and stayed focus and the past few days the scale started moving again. I hit by short term goal of 259lbs and have set my next short term goal at 237lbs which should put me right around 30% body fat based on the Dexa scan I did about 6 weeks ago.

    Update as of 7/19/2020
    Start Weight 10/11/19: 474 lbs
Short term Goal Weight: 237 lbs

Loss since last update : 3.5 lbs
    Total Loss: 216.2 lbs

It has been 2 weeks since my last update. I have def been stalling as of late and my rate of loss has gone down dramatically. I am staying the course though and know I will break this plateau/stall.

    Update as of 8/2/2020
    Start Weight 10/11/19: 474 lbs
Short term Goal Weight: 237 lbs
    Current Weight 8/2/20: 254.1 lbs
Loss since last update : 3.7 lbs (2 weeks)
    Total Loss: 219.9 lbs
Short Term Goal To Go: 17.1 lbs

Amazing how much you've lost, awesome job! 3.7 lbs in two weeks still great going. I wouldn't consider a stall until none was lost two weeks running. Any loss is s win.

    Dexa Scan

    Did a Dexa scan today

It measured me as 255.9lbs although the scale was 254.9 (with gym clothes on)
    Breakdown:
    83.2lbs of fat Mass
172.7 lbs of Fat Free Mass (163.7lbs of lean tissue & 9.0lbs of Bone mass)

    BodyFat %: 33.7%

i last was scanned 2 months ago. since then i have lost 27.7lbs of fat while gaining 4.2lbs of lean mass

Solid 2 months of progress IMO.
