Today I was doing my push routine which starts out with flat barbell bench. I warmed up with 2 sets of light weight and then headed into my working sets. I loaded the bar with the weight I was able to do for 8 reps the last session. For some reason I wasnt able to lift the bar off the rack. I decreased the weight and still wasnt able to get the bar off. Does anyone now wtf is wrong with me?

I've had bad days in the gym where the bar just feels unusually heavy for some reason and my reps dropped from 8 to maybe 3-4 but never an occurrence where I couldn't unrack something I previously hit for multiple reps.
Were you unusually fatigued or did you change anything else (working out fasted)? When was your last deload week? Did you notice general overall weakness in your other day to day activities? First time OK, but if it happens again I would go see a medical professional just to get checked out, since a sudden loss of strength could be something that is more serious. All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

Not sure if this is silly but some gyms have bars that only weigh 25 pounds rather than tjr standard 45 pounds.
Sometimes I see dudes benching with them and wonder if they even know or if they just assume they added 20 pounds to their bench overnightRecent best lifts
