this was the one where the entire seal team said he was a murderer, and then one dude changed his testimony after being granted immunity and took the fall for him, right?
the guy posed for a photo with a 15 year old terrorist prisoner whose throat he allegedly slashed, right?
the guy had texts talking about how he couldn't wait to gut someone to test out his new knife, right?
yeah real war hero...
So, I take it he is a hero, and the rest of his team are a bunch of lying unamerican sacks of chit, right?
Even though they also served and were SEALs...?
k
let's take the word of one SEAL over several other SEALs because reasons and because murdering brown people is funny I guess
this chit won't be so funny when they're murdering you, but that's ok because a government would NEVER do that to its own people, rrr-rrright guys?
fuking lol
but yea who gives a chit about law and basic decency and you know that whole honor thing

'A captured young fighter of the Islamic State was being treated by a medic. According to two SEAL witnesses, Gallagher said over the radio "he's mine" and walked up to the medic and prisoner, and without saying a word killed the prisoner by stabbing him repeatedly with his hunting knife. Gallagher and his commanding officer, Lieutenant Jake Portier, then posed for photos of them standing over the body with some other nearby SEALs. Gallagher then text messaged a fellow SEAL a picture of the dead captive with the explanation "Good story behind this, got him with my hunting knife.”'

so there's photo evidence of him posing with a dead body of a pow stating "good story behind this, got him with my hunting knife" but he's innocent.
looks like his buddy who posed with him and was granted immunity "suddenly" confessed to the crime. Coincidentally this scumbag got convicted of posing with the dead body.
He'll rot in hell so really who cares. He'll fit right in with the rest of the right-wing psychos when he goes back home and beats his wife and children. We'll probably find him in the nearby forest torturing animals.

Trump ignores Pentagon advice and intervenes in military war crimes cases
https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/15/polit...nes/index.html
If the President "were to overuse his pardon power and in fact release soldiers who have, in every other way, have the evidence stacked against them, there certainly could be an impact on the military judicial process going forward," said John Kirby, a retired admiral who has served as both Pentagon and State Department spokesman.
"There could be an impact on military leaders and their ability to enact measures of good order and discipline. There also could be a potential crisis of confidence in the potential countries we're operating in," Kirby added. "One of the reasons American troops are as welcome in as many countries as they are is because they know the American military administers itself according to a very strict code of justice and we have a very good record of holding those troops accountable," even for "drunken driving overseas or getting into a fistfight in a bar."

You guys realize this is a Fox news article right? So this isn't some left slanted article...and yet it says:
"Lorance was six years into serving a 19-year sentence at Fort Leavenworth for ordering his soldiers to open fire and kill three men in Afghanistan. Lorence’s supporters say he killed Taliban fighters. Nine members of his unit testified against him, saying the men were innocent."
Nine members of his own unit testified against him. Sooo your cheering about siding with 1 serviceman who was found guilty and going against the word of 9 other servicemen?
That isn't R vs D, it's picking a convicted military guy over 9 other military men who think he was in the wrong.
jeezus...this country is so f**ked. You either have the left who's hyper PC and wants to tax everything and have open borders, or you have the right that can't stop nut hugging a president's every word or move even when they are idiotic.

"So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. . . . Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place." -Tecumseh
