    Advice on lifting gloves

Going into winter and my gym is unheated. Normally the bar warms up in my hand, but when it's really far below zero it causes problems. I much prefer lifting in the cold, the colder the better actually.

Any advice on gloves to keep my hands from freezing to the bar?

I've resorted to wearing gloves because some members in the gym are just too disgusting (worst was a guy blowing his nose into his hand and going on with his workout touching stuff with that hand....I know, just wash my hands after Im done but still...). I used gloves when I first started and remember them affecting the grip in a negative way. I had this thought that baseball players use batting gloves and they cant compromise their grip on the bat. So bought some and was pleasantly surprise how it still felt like I was gripping the bar with my bare hands (and it got better with subsequent use probably due to it breaking in)

Would have never thought of that. Seems better than a lot of lifting glove solutions. I think OP probably needs gloves with full fingers and a batting glove accomplishes that.

I use batting gloves whenever it gets too cold in my garage to hold the bar comfortably, they are wonderful.

I just buy the grippy gloves at the cash register at harbor freight. works well even well below 0. plus they are like $3 if you lose them or tear them or just want a new pair its stupid cheap.

This year I'm using a simple electric heater thats small enough I can move it around and point it at where my hands are on the bar. by the time Iget to heavy sets for deadlift my hands and bar are warm enough that the one lift that used to give me issues with the gloves doesn't anymore.
