Hey all.
I am on my 3rd container of Assault (I only take it 3 days a week as I do not use it on my cardio days). In the past month or so, I have been getting these dizzy spiels where I feel focused and then I just lose all sense of equilibrium. This does not happen in the gym, but happens about an hour or two after I am done at the gym. I do sometimes also have a sensitivity to light in the gym (I workout at night mainly) when I am taking this stuff.
I took ACG3 prior to Assault and never had either of these problems.
I also take Muscle Pharm's creatine in my protein shake post-workout, Extenze intra-workout, and then a Waxy-Maze Carb stack (100% Waxy-Maze) post workout on my way home from the gym to get my shake.
Anyone else experienced similar episodes?

Yes, I'm on my 3rd or 4th tub and know exactly what you're talking about. I love the energy/pumps I get from Assault but after I'm done with this tub I think I may be done with it. No problem while I'm working out but when Im driving or doing something a little later, I get dizzy and feel kind of out of it?? Never felt it before and I know what you mean by sensitive to light too, when it's sunny out if I don't have shades Im f-ed. This **** cray, think I'm going back to jack3d soon.

Yeah, I am going off of it. The only thing that has changed recently has been adding that into my diet. So, it think it is time to go back to what I was taking prior and see what happens.
I was taking Xtend with my PWO (ACG3) prior and that worked for almost a year and a half without any complications.

I'll join you on this, I just started MP Assault. I'm on my 4th dose, and have started experiencing the dizziness. Searched google to see if I'm alone, and found this thread. I am almost to the point of throwing up.
I'm eating like I normally do, and taking all the support supplements like normal, the only thing I have added/changed is my pre-workout which is now MP Assault.
I'm going to give it a couple more tries to make sure it is Assault, and not something else like dehydration, fatigue, or maybe I'm getting sick. This stuff seems to be a top notch pre-workout, one of the best I've ever had, so I'm not ready to give up on it just yet.Last edited by mst504; 03-18-2012 at 04:28 PM.

Finally i see someone who has the same problem as me!!! I have this same issue with assault, and so i recently just gave it away. I too figured it had to do with a vasodilation thing but it's weird that it seems to be caused mainly by assault. I would only take 1/2 scoop but it would still happen every time i worked out, i have experienced it with other pre's but never consistently like i did with assault

Dude, when I first saw the thread title the first thing that came to mind is, wtf, is this dude taking Viagra intra-workout? So, it's funny to me that you actually do take extenze. I dont know what compound that is or how that stuff works, but go to the Viagra website. Dizziness/headache/sensitivity to light are common side effects, so if Extenze works similarly, I'd say that's the culprit.

To follow up from my post earlier, I drank a Sierra Mist after posting and about 15 - 20 minutes later I started to feel normal again. I'm thinking it could have been low blood sugar? Is there anything in MP Assault that would cause this?
I will note too, that it was difficult driving feeling like this.
Also something I forgot to mention about a hour before I took my dose of MP Assault today, I took 200mg Ibprofen for a headache.

I get this same thing
Somedays its super bad, I tried eating gummy bears right after my workout and that seams to help, if I take it a half an hour before I get to the gym I get jittery, tingles, and I feel cold, during the workout Im usually fine but sometimes I get a sensation of where Im slightly short of breath, other times I feel great and get a fantastic workout. Im iffy about this product

Phew!
I just bought a can of assault and experienced the same symptoms of dizziness. Like you, I was only using about 1/4 of a scoop since it's so sweet. I was really worried since vertigo seems to run in my family. I'm going to stop taking the assault and see if switching back to gatorade eliminates the dizzy spells. It was horrible. After benching or any other exercise requiring me to lay down, I'd have to sit for about 30 seconds to a minute before the room stopped spinning. I'll let you know if the dizzy spells go away in the next few days as I take the assault out of my diet.
Thanks!

I never really got those problems when my stim tolerance was really high. After taking a stim break though, seems like all preworkouts do this to me. My eyes are already sensitive to light as it is, but preworkouts seem to magnify that. If I close my eyes for a bit or block sunlight from the windows or do something to avoid seeing the glare on the road, I don't get nearly as nauseous (and sometimes get a little dizzy from the light as well, and also headache). It's not like severe, but enough to make me feel kinda sick and make me wanna close my eyes for a bit, maybe a few minutes.
Feeling bad postworkout though could also be attributed to low electrolytes and/or blood sugar or blood pressure. I've noticed I feel way better and am much less susceptible to this when I've had more carbs though...especially preworkout (like 2 hours before, so I have time for my stomach to settle. Sometimes I'll have some fruit an hour before though)

It may be a blood pressure issue as noted above from the caffeine. Also look into factors such as proper breathing while lifting, adequate hydration, etc. that may alter blood pressure (if you are experiencing symptoms when not on any stims).
I have seen all the complaints above but have not seen anyone follow up with a reply as to whether or not symptoms went away when discontinuing use of assault for another pre workout. Has anyone changed products to another stim product and resolved the symptoms?Millecor Sponsored Athlete

Bumping this. As I type this I'm having a very strange reaction to assault. I'm used to c4 so I thought I'd take a scoop and a half of this. I just had to cut my workout short because I was feeling dizzy/faint. I was scared I was gonna faint on my drive home from the gym. I still feel weird but I'm eating like a fiend hoping it'll help. My vision is like, unfocused as well.
A bit of background if it helps anyone. I haven't ate as many calories as I usually do today. I also was doing chest today. Did OHP, Flat Bench, Incline bench, and then dips but I had to stop at the dips as things started to get weird. I don't know if I'll give it another chance; I'm really bummed cause I just took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free sale on bb.com and now I have these two fresh tubs of pwo sitting around that I don't know if I should even take anymore. When youre out there partying, horsing around, someone out there at the same time is working hard.
