I disagree. The modern dims are very capable of keeping their own in line and crushing any dissent within the party. We also know by the last 3 years that the dims will stop at nothing in an attempt to overturn 2016's election results. With these two facts, I believe they will ram the impeachment through on partisan lines where it will die in the senate. They will then relentlessly dish out media pressers and "bombshell" stories about how the "corrupt" Senate Republicans quashed an "obvious" need to impeach Trump in order to bolster their base's support to attempt to take back the senate in 2020.
