The 49ers would’ve blown the Seahawks out by 50+ points. Jimmy G is one of the worst QBs in the NFL right now being carried by talent around him and coaching.

i won't say jimmy g is bad but people hyped him up too quick. let the fuker play for at least 3 years then you can see how good or bad he is. that's the problem with you fuking phaggots and the fuking phaggots called the media.

Define hyping up?
Media does what the media does. Around here nobody called Jimmy an elite QB but saying he's played better than mediocre isn't saying he's an elite level QB.
People are using Monday's game as a "i told you so moment" but the reality of it few QBs are successful in situations like that where you're getting constantly pressured, hit and your only two reliable targets are out of the game and the other guys are all young WRs who drop pass after pass. Even the veteran QBs who have been through some sh*t for years would struggle in those conditions.
The idiot brigade will tell you it's excuses but it's simply common sense.

No he's not...
Just because he hasn't had to throw up big numbers to win this year doesn't mean he hasn't made plays when they needed them. Last night was a brutal game but the circumstances weren't conducive for success by a QB.
Even after last night Garoppolo is still one of the top QBs in 3rd down conversion %. He was #1 until this week where Brees jumped him.

The guy is still only at 19 starts in the NFL, in comparison Trubisky has 34. He's not a finished product. Doesn't mean he'll turn into an elite QB with more starts but he's shown enough good that makes me think with more time post his ACL injury, more experience and more comfort with the young WRs and consistency at that position that he should definitely improve.

I love that you can tell this from watching him play 19 games, all of which I assume you've watched in entirety. You may be right, because more QB's than not fall into that boat, but at this point it's not a foregone conclusion like you think.
Jimmy has performed pretty well in the bigger moments of a handful of games, regardless of him having not his best game Monday (the whole offense wasn't at their best).
As for OP Jimmy is far from one of the worst QBs and who cares if he's being "carried" so is Brady according to half this forum and look at Matt Ryan without Shanahan. Having a good coach shouldn't be a knock on a player. But again we know OP also is one of the many resident QB savant's we have around this forum, btw how is the GOAT Bortles doing right now? That's a rhetorical question btw.
Obviously Wilson offers more than Jimmy right now, and more than many other QB's in the league. Wilson is an anomaly, he offers what basically no other QB's offer, his stature, elusiveness, and ability to extend plays and create something from nothing while doing it smartly and also be able to safely run to make plays is not the norm. Even so he has downsides with straight up pocket passing sometimes as well as the occasional mistakes, nobody wants to harp on his RZ INT in OT because they ended up winning (and he's the golden boy MVP candidate currently so he can do no wrong), but it happened and should have cost them the game but didn't.San Francisco 49ers

He lost a game in overtime against the MVP in a game where his star TE and star WR were out as well as several other key players, and in a game where the rookie kicker shanked the game winning FG
He is officially over, done with
Not srs. I agree JG should draw some criticism with this game but lol at calling him inept or people saying Kaep would be better

He's an offensive genius sure but did that help Brian Hoyer, CJ Beathard and Nick Mullens have a winning record with him?
Jimmy is now 2nd on the 3rd down conversion % as a QB. The team doesn't need him to throw for 300+ and 3TDs+ each game that's correct. But he's coming up with big throws when the team needs him.
http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/l...=Passing&year=
He had at least 3 drops Monday night on 3rd down which would've kept him at the top of this list...and also keep 49er drives alive which certainly would've impacted the game.
The guy played poorly and didn't protect the ball but he's 19 career starts into his NFL career. QBs have chit games and in situation like he experienced Monday night it tends to happen often.
We'll see how he recovers from that game.
