What spices or seasonings do you recommend without particular nutritional value?

Stuff like steamed broccoli or frozen vegetables, chicken/fish is rather bland. Can you recommend seasonings that make these tasty, without a lot of sodium or other nutritional value? (Not many/any calories). What is a generic go-to?

Brocoli tastes good stir fried. Some soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt pepper pinch of sugar etc.
Or just oyster sauce with a drizzle of heated sesame oil.

In terms of regular veggies, you can sautee them or grill them. Usually i just use salt pepper and olive oil.

Chicken you just gotta either marinate or grill with some salt pepper chili powder paprika powder, garlic powder etc.
Sometimes i use goya, sometimes i use old bay.
Really the options are limitless. With the internet, there are a million recipes online. You just gotta try some and then write down which ones you liked.
It takes experimenting. Also a bit of honey after the chicken is almost done grilling tastes great.

I like roasting my vegetables and seasoning them with a little bit of balsamic vinaigrette, thyme, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. You can also have it with vegetable seasoning which they sell it in a blend in stores. As for chicken, I do garlic sriracha seasoning and let it sit overnight and then grill it in my foreman grill.

Jane’s Crazy Salt. It’s a blend of spices like salt, pepper, onion, etc. Usually put it on chicken before cooking. Also pretty good on eggs and veggies.

Sea Salt with Pepper and Olive Oil on steaks when grilling.

Look in the popcorn aisle for the seasonings: Ranch, Sour Cream, Cheddar, Butter. The Ranch in particular is legit on veggies.

Steamed broccoli tastes nice when you don't oversteam it. 2 min max.
And do not skimp on salt when you live healthy. A little goes a long way. But too little makes your life shorter very quickly.
Salt is needed to make stomach acid which is needed to metabolize proteins and kill germs.

Add a bit of oil to utilize fat-soluble vitamins.

For fish I just use salt and pepper. But dill is great too.

I use siracha or buffalo sauce or salsa verde or any other kind of hot sauce (in moderation) on all my wraps. A kick for under 10 calories (bottle says zero normally)

Mustard, onions and tomato if I’m making a tuna Sandwich out of a can of tuna.

Lemon pepper or just salt and pepper is also one of my favs.

These do add a bit of sodium but I don’t care too much. Should I? It doesn’t do anything besides water retention, right? Is it bad for BB/muscle gain/fat loss?
