What are a good pair of MMA shorts?

The top brands seem to be a bit pricey ..but are they worth it? Im looking for something that will go down to my knees and will still allow me to throw kicks.

right now looking at hayabusa chikara and venum okinawa

Got 2 pairs of hayabusa. Top quality and fits great, the slit allows the kicks to flow. Highly recommend hayabusas

Shorts are the the least concerning piece of gear for combat sport training as in they don’t experience much wear and tear and you don’t depend on them to aid in your performance (like a gi, globes, pads etc). You’ll be just as fine with a $30 pair as a $80 pair. I personally love clinch gear but they may be too short to hide your chicken legs op

    Kind of what he said.
Shorts unless they're complete pieces of crap or thin will last forever, but no need to drop $80 on them - You can find some "cheap" shorts for $15 - $30 if you look. But for reference, I haven't trained in about 7 years...but I have a pair of sprawl shorts that are 15 years old?

Also, I like the Clinch gear shorts too (chicken legs and all). The only thing I'm not completely sold on is the lack of elastic in the waistband. Other than that, they're great.
