    520 to 420 in 8 months.

So I made a post on this forum I don't remember how long ago, stating that I was 490 pounds, 18 years old, and ready to take my life back. Truth is I was actually around 530 pounds when I made that post, I was too embarrassed to state that I was in the 500's. Well, I started to lose weight around 8 months ago, was doing GREAT for about 5 months got down to 430, then I met a girl, and being with her meant I had to take her out which put me around so much temptation and that included her saying "oh you can do without your stupid diet for a day". Well, about 6 months into the relationship she cheated on me, left me, and is now with the guy she cheated on me with. But that's beside the point, it sent me into a depressive spiral for about 2 months, I gained back up to 450ish. I'm here today saying I am going to jumpstart back into my diet, I am including photos that I took from the night of prom, (in April) to present day. I am 4 t-shirt sizes down and went from a 54 pant to a 44.

Nice job dude, keep on going. And don't put someone else ahead of your goals, people come and go and at the end of the day this is a matter of your life & health.

Also, people don't necessarily need to be your cheerleaders, but they don't need to get in your way either. Do not let anyone's comments or influence derail you from your goal.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

Fantastic progress. You're definitely going to hit bumps in the road, but it sounds like you're handling it well. That whole saying about "it's a marathon, not a sprint" just keep moving forward
