My post was made well before then game even started.

With that said Jackson did impress more this week, but he also played Cinci.

    This, wtf?

His one INT was just a really great play by our defender

His run in the final minutes set up the win too when in all reality it should have been a tie

Played 5 full quarters on Monday night against the best D in the league and came out a winner. Clear MVP right now, zero doubt

I voted for Wilson but as much love as he was getting for last night he didn't play well...but to be fair the defense is legit(even if some people on here aren't impressed with them lol)

Wilson has a way of making clutch plays and he got it done when it mattered but he also got lucky the 49ers kicker missed the FG after throwing the pick in OT and Seattle won that game because of their defense.

3 TDs all of turnovers, including one defensive score. Drive of 16 yards and 24 yards for TDs aren't exactly putting the team on his back.

But he kept his poise and got it done. All you can ask of a QB. Overall I think he still has the edge on Jackson. His OL is way worse than what Jackson is playing behind.

Russell Wilson is a cornball and I hate losing to him but he's an awesome QB.

How come no one has thrown Dalvin Cook into the mix? #1 in rushing yards. More receiving yards than CMC. 10 TDs on the year and clearly makes the Vikings a playoff quality team.

Patrick Lavon Mahomes coming for this again boyos...

He's only 190yds and 5 scores off each respective leader, and has missed essentially 3 games

KC defense gonna KC defense so he'll have to put up 30 a game the rest of the way out as well...

Kirk Cousins has posted very good numbers this year so Cook despite playing excellent this year would have a tough time getting MVP votes when his QB is putting up huge numbers through the air.

McCaffrey is doing it rushing and receiving and playing with Cam and Kyle Allen. You can easily make a case that if McCaffrey is out of that lineup their offense is a complete disaster.

Take out Dalvin Cook from Vikings and Cousins, Diggs, Thielen can still keep things going.

At least that's the way I look at MVP. The guy who simply takes the side of the ball he plays on to another level and him being out of the game creates complete havoc on that unit.

That's why Russell Wilson is #1. Despite his game against the 49ers if he didn't play this year I don't think they're even close to a winning record right now.

You realize Cook only has a few more rushing and receiving yards than Christian and hasn't been on his bye yet.. That'll change soon, not to mention Cook is on the far superior team, don't dare mention Cook ahead of CMC

3 more rushing yards than CMC and 28 more receiving yards than CMC while having 3 less receiving tds and 1 less rushing TD while having 1 less game played than Cook. After Cook goes on Bye, CMC is gonna blow past him fairly easily

I only brought up Cook because through 10 games, he's ahead of all Adrian Peterson's MVP season stats. While the Vikings have other weapons on offense, he's still playing lights out.

I also thought I heard on MNF that Russell Wilson has never received an MVP vote in his career. I thought that was pretty crazy.

I don't think that's MVP quality. Take him away, how do the Saints still look? Still pretty good

Take Wilson away from Seattle or McAffrey away from Panthers and they are losing teams

He already has over 1000 yards, so we'd look much different.

Not even in the same level of difference compared to Wilson / Jackson / McAffrey / Cook

Someone else would have caught a majority of those passes

He won't win MVP but he SHOULD be in the conversation. He's already broken 2 NFL records this season. He's going to have to break the single season receiving yardage record for him to get any kind of consideration, which is BS.

You don't see what a big deal Thomas is to the Saints.

He should be in the conversation if we are talking about maybe top 15

Lots of people besides the 4 being discussed that would enter the conversation ahead of him IMO

George Kittle broke the TE receiving yards record last year and wasn't anywhere close the the conversation. And Kittle has a bigger impact on the 9ers Offense than Thomas does on the Saints Offense

    1. No, he should be in the conversation with those 4.

    2. Thomas is so much more valuable than you give him credit for. He's easily a top 5 WR in the league and he's killing it this year.

    3. That was last year. Again, you're basically acting like Thomas is a dime a dozen. He absolutely does not, especially this year.

I'm not saying Thomas should win it, because no WR will ever win it, but he should be in the conversation.

What I'm saying is, no receiver will ever win it, or really ever be in the conversation

I'm saying that last year Kittle had a better year than Thomas is having this year, and he wasn't even in the conversation, and no one thought he should be. So why would Michael Thomas be in the conversation this year?

Legit no one but you thinks he should be in the conversation with those 4

Kittle is a TE, of course he wasn't in the conversation.

We'll see about that as the season progresses. I'm saying he should, and he definitely will be in the conversation as the season progresses.

A TE that had more receiving yards than most WRs plus blocking for the run game. That's a lot of value, which is what we are talking about

Thomas definitely will not be in any conversations. Not hating on him, like you said he's a top 5 receiver, but that's just how it is with MVP talk

Ravens would be a 1 or 2 win team without Lamar. His receivers are a midget rookie (who is good but still) and a bunch of scrubs who wouldn't make most rosters. Wilson has Lockett and DK Metcalf, Watson has Hopkins, Stills, Fuller, Coutee.
